I have variable GI issues that mean sometimes I can't handle solid food for days, weeks, or even months. Ensure helps keep me nourished and at a decent weight during these times, as it's one of the few foods I can keep down. I love most of the flavors but the coffee is one of my favorites.

I was recently in the hospital after a car accident suffering multiple broken bones. I have ensure in my fridge. The expiration date is a year from now. I shook a bottle before opening it, the seal was not broken. As I was about to take a drink I noticed an orange colored smudge on the mouth of the bottle. It is rust from the metal on the lid. This is unacceptable. I have no other concerns with this product. Regards, A.M.

It gives me the energy I need to motivate me to do the things that need to be done. I have Have taken it for years,. Recently I was in the hospital for major surgery., and I was so glad to see it sitting on my tray, knowing that the medical community and nutritionists agree with me, that Ensure is the Best. just had hand/elbow surgery. I was without an appetite for 5 days. I lived on Ensure, 18 to be exact. Kept me balanced, full and my digestive system going. In my normal everyday life, I am a very active healthy dog trainer. I also run dog agility. You will always find an Ensure in my car, training bag or kennel. Fast meal, when you are hungry and no time to eat, OR you don't want weighted products in your digestive system. Love ENSURE!!

The added health benefit of vitamins and minerals was a plus, but the flavor of the dark chocolate was delicious. My wife accused me of being addicted because I started shopping for Ensure every time we traveled and usually carry a 6 pack for my once a day habit! Well that was many years ago and the Original dark chocolate is still my favorite, but I have tried nearly all of them. Sadly, dark chocolate is only offered in 2 lines (Original and the high calorie), but the Mocha in the high protein line is tasting better each time I try it and practically no calories!

It has a rich butter pecan taste, along with essential minerials and vitamins making it a good way to get recomended nutrients. It reminds me of eating butter pecan ice cream and is a flavor the competition lacks which would boost their sales. I even add a little to the kids milk and they think it's the best ever.

Now, two months later, I feel much more energetic and have a renewed interest in doing those things which I had always enjoyed. Ensure has been a lifesaver, quite literally, as a meal replacement and partial hydration for a woman who refuses to eat and drink most things. Her favorite flavor is vanilla, though she also enjoys the butter pecan from time to time. Not sure how I would keep my mom healthy without Ensure.

It tastes great an contains all of the essential nutrients I need. It's actually a very soothing drink that I look forward to each morning. NOT filling but, satisfies my appetite until lunch. Great!
