Bought this months ago and had new gutter installers “install” it when gutters were installed. The just stuck a downspout over the screened area so it quickly filled with water. But the spigot I bought doesn’t screw in - anywhere on either barrel.

My wife and I purchased 3 of these but they are NOT 50 gallon. Calculating volume using the actual measurements of the storage area yields about 37 gallons, NOT 50. Even if you add in the area of the flower pot area, (which is not storage) it still yields only about 42 gallons. False discription.

I like the look of this rain barrel, Purchased from Hayneedle but concerned about the rateing of the material its not bpa free. Wonder how that will affect growing vegtables. Will the chemicals in the plastic leach out into the water. If they do I dont want to use it and will purchase one that is BPA free. I have no complaints about how it looks or the hardware it was semi easy to put the spigots in. They fit tightly we havent had any rain so can't say how it will do holding water. But do think I will make a larger opening at the top and add a larger screen. It will be free standing and not attached to downspout.

Came with only one spigot and hole drilled. Unfortunately for me, the one that is useless, bottom center. Will need to purchase and install another one, which no longer makes this the most cost effective choice in rain barrels.

I had been looking for a non-industrial looking rain barrel. I was excited to find this one. It matched the colors of the exterior of my home. Was pleasantly surprised to find out this rain barrel is much larger than expected ! Works great

I like it a lot, but the fact that is said something about water might contain lead is a little disturbing to me. Not that I'm going to drink the water, but I would like to water my vegetable plants with it.

Nice piece. There were no faucets or instructions in the box had to contact the manufacture finally got the faucets but no instructions so went to you-tube and got instructions there.

Nice design except we thought the downspout was going inside, not just over a screened opening. Anxious to get it set up and see how it works
