Water aplenty

This barrel is not 50 gallons. There's a formula to determine gallons and by measurement, it's 40 gallons, and that's not even allowing for the thickness of the material. So actually it's less than 40. If it wasn't such a hassle, I'd return it. Don't pay for a 50-gallon and get less than 40. Shame on Sam's for allowing this.

False Advertising

The description says it comes with 2 brass spickets,  it did not.  Also, when you insert the spicket (the one we received), it doesn't fit well, therefore when water is filling up the barrrel, water leaks from the bottom of the spicket.  When you buy something new, you shouldn't have to call the manufacturer for missing hardware.

Beautiful rain barrel

Poor pressure

This is the third rain barrel I have purchased. This is definitely the poorest quality of the three. The molding is very poor and shaving from drilling and cutting holes were left in barrel. Had to vacuum it out to prevent stopping up faucet. One of the faucet was missing. I would spend a little more and get a quality rain barrel.

Poor molding and missing faucet

This rain barrel works fantastic and is so decorative that it looks like a piece of art. Easy to set up, just follow the instructions and take your time to be sure it’s level and you have the right tools. I have mine up on level cinder blocks to get good pressure when using the faucets. Love the 2 brass faucets that are heavy duty. Just be sure to put 4/5 complete rows of plummers tape that is included , and carefully screw them completely in not to strip them.
