I looked everywhere for popcorn for my new machine and this was the best value and now after using it I can tell you it is excellent popcorn.

The price of this popcorn kit is way too expensive. The price of one could purchase you two with another vendor who sells the exact sale product. The product however is amazing, I never have issues with Gold Medal products.

These popcorn packets always have good flavor. I've ordered other brands in the past but the Gold medal brand is definitely better tasting. I did realize, these packets are 8 oz size but measured for use with a 6 oz machine. If you zoom in on the actual packets it says premeasured for a 6 oz machine. Which is a bit misleading, because for example in the item description of the 5.5 oz packet box, the item description says FOR USE WITH 4 oz machine. So if you have an 8oz machine you need to buy the 10.6 oz packet size. They should edit descriptions to be more clear which size packet goes with which size machine. The other issue I've had is that a few packets out of almost every box will be busted and there's oil leaking out. There's a plastic liner in the box that helps contain the mess but it happens consistently. I've ordered the same product direct from Gold Medal and had the same issue. When I brought it up to the manufacturer they said could be the shipping or could be the temperature changes that cause packets to break open. Which I guess is possible too, but seems like a stronger seal would help on these packets.
