[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This gate is a toddler presents dream come true! At taller than any gate I’ve encountered before. It’s the perfect height to keep my toddler and toddler nephew out of places they shouldn’t be. It was super simple to instill, I was able to do it by myself in no time. I love how it locked via the top and at the bottom. Simply switch the lock down on both sides in secret and the toddlers don’t know why it won’t open even if the can stretch and reach the handle. I also love this gate for my dogs. I highly recommend this gate! Super sturdy, easy to install, multipurpose and damage free to your walls.

Needed this, as our dog kept jumping over the regular sized gate we had before. It works great and has an option to lock the gate, which is handy in our case and our dog will open the gate if left unlocked. It looks decent. The only issue is that it's a teeny bit wobbly. Nonetheless, it gets the job done! Very happy with the purchase overall.

I'm a mom of four kids and I just had my fourth kid I use to use the place ones that you had to move or you had to step over it. I'm absolutely in love with this gate especially since you don't have to move it all the time!

Works perfectly for my dog. Just make sure you don't over pressure it because then you can't open the door with ease. As long as you get the pressure just right it will open and close with no problems. Also make sure you look at the bottom of the door to know which way you want it to open after it is installed.

Ordering was easy. The items came a day earlier than originally. It was very easy to install. The gates are sturdy. I bought the gates to contain the dog's in the kitchen when not home. Does a great job for that. Soon they will be used to prevent the twins from falling down the stairs.

The Regalo - Extra Tall (walk thru) metal gate ... was simple to install and remove. Since it fits doorways up to 39-inches wide I've enjoyed the flexibility of moving it from one doorway to another, depending upon where I need to contain my pets. The walk thru gate is easy to open & close.

This gate is excellent. Actually using this to restrict our dog who is fairly tall. The gate has a lock that you can use or not. Also this gate is not one of those child proof that you can never get open. The value is there love this brand, now to convince my husband to get another one to replace the "brand" name one we have that is not doing well.

This is the perfect solution for keeping my little dog out of the living room! I'm not handy at all, but I was easily able to install this gate in a matter of minutes. It is strong, sturdy, and attractive. The handle is very easy to work with one hand, which is nice. I'm definitely pleased with this purchase!

Must be square to operate properly. Note, you will have screw holes left in door frame when you remove it, so if you have a rental or that will bother you when you are finished with it..

I bought this gate to keep my 5 month old minpin puppies in the kitchen while I'm at work. They easily jump over regular gates, so I needed one that was plenty high enough to make that impossible. This one was the right price and the right height. I rent my apt, and to avoid putting unnecessary holes, I didn't use the screws. The gate is plenty strong enough with the tension that it has been in place for 3 weeks now without budging. When I read the reviews, I was initially worried about the door opening being too narrow, as I am by far not a small woman. While it's true I usually can't walk straight through it without my hips hitting the sides, it's not like I have to suck it in and hope for the best. In fact, I'm quite comfortable walking through it, even carrying groceries through. I had no problems setting it up, and no alignment issues either. I love that the door does not automatically shut on its own, so I can leave it open while I'm at home and not have to take the gate down completely. My only issue is specific to using it for pets. The bars are a bit wide for smaller puppies, and my smaller 5 lb runt squeezed through. My larger 9 lb pup managed to push the door at the bottom enough to actually BEND the metal bars and squeeze through the then enlarged opening. That was all easy to fix though. the bars weren't really that bent and were easy to put back. I solved the escape artist problem by putting their old shorter gate up in front of this gate and doubling up. I guess some people would then say it defeats the purpose, but my only true reason for buying this gate was the height.
