Really nice gate. Protect the house from my dog. Please pay attention during first time assembling that gap between details is not a defect. When you complete assembling and actual installation the door will close perfectly fine. I am satisfied with quality of the product.

Love this gate!!! Bought it to keep my daughter in and the dogs out!! Works great!! Even though my Chihuahua is able to squeeze threw the bars, my other dogs are bigger and can't. And since the gate is so tall, they are unable to jump it like they do the smaller ones.

I like the product, there could have been one more extension with small size. It works perfect and sits properly without screws. The locking system could be better. My gate is sitting so tight I need to push little to unlock to open the gate. rest all good.

I just got a Great Dane puppy and this gate works great. I love its one hand operation. Very easy to open and it closes and locks securely. If you have a very tiny dog they may be able to get through the slats. In fact I'm planning on buying a 2nd one.

Item came well packed. It is well made - metal not plastic. Solid. Easy to adjust for doorway. I have to slip sideways thru door but safer than stepping over a baby gate! Can install for gate swing direction. Using as a cat barrier in my garage door walkway so only using pressure knobs (must secure into doorframe for a child!). High enough so he can't jump over it. Removeable in fall. Now I can leave garage door open for ventilation. I ziptied plastic netting to the bars to prevent escape. Perfect for my need. Cat is still planning a breakout.

The metal is warped so the gate doesn't close all the way like it's supposed to. also the only way to open and close the gate is to take it off the wall.... so it's pretty much worthless. and dangerous to have around young children. very very poor quality item.

I have a loft-style condo; my bedroom area has an opening but no door. I've tried everything to keep the cats out and nothing has worked until this baby gate! It's tall enough that they don't even attempt to jump over it (2 of my cats are 1 year olds, 1 is 8 years old). Though they are unable to get through the spaces between the bars, a smaller cat or kitten could probably squeeze through. Years ago I had a plastic gate which cost as much as this metal one, and it was flimsy and cheap looking. Plus the gate opened the entire length of the gate which made it VERY flimsy. This gate has a narrower opening, and is supported well on both sides, so it will never move when you are walking through the gate. A real bargain for the price, especially considering it is a sturdy metal. Highly recommended.

Not only did it arrive looking somewhat dirty, like it had been stored outside, but it just straight doesn't work for a doorway. It's too tall. It interferes with the doorknob. You might be able to use it in a doorless area like a hallway, but thats not it's only problem. If you use the pressure mount method, it doesn't function properly. If you tighten it enough so it can't be dislodged, the latch area looses its clearance and you can't open it without fidgeting with it. If you loosen it enough for the latch to work how it is supposed to then it is too loose in the doorframe and can be knocked out of place with just a bit of effort (like a kiddo trying to escape!). Needless to say, I returned it!

this was half the price of any of the others we found of the same size.

This is a very good product.works as it's supposed to and easy to setup.
