Been doing daycare for over 20 years and never had one of these. Should have gotten one long ago. So far have just used it around a Christmas tree, and that works great. Didn't attach ends together, just lapped two panels in back and tightened up joints. It's metal so very sturdy. But not terribly heavy, so easy to fold up and put away.

We have only had this gate a short while. We have used it to keep pets separated and have place of adopting a toddler soon, so it will be quite useful. The original purpose of the gate was to surround our wood stove to keep little ones from touching the wood stove. We live in a smaller home, so there is not much room for accidents, especially the stove. Finding a gate that would surround the stove and not cost an arm and leg, no pun intended, and still be quality and work well, was a bit of a challenge until we found this gate. It is sturdy, quite large and very easy to set up, either permanently or temporary. It is light, sturdy, easy to move around, and fits many different configurations according to your needs.

Configurable into many positions to accommodate your needs. Lightweight but very durable. I actually bought another one just to put around my Christmas tree so the dogs and 2 year old son couldn't knock down all the ornaments or redecorate the tree the way they thought it should be, lol.

I brought this item, not for kids, I am using the gate for my crafting business. I make rugs, the weave is stored in a room above garage, the gate is holding the weave up against the walls. Before the gate, I had weave in bags, everywhere, now I can see what I have. I think the gate would be great for kids, small dogs or thinking out of the box, as I did.

Perfect size for the space we needed and sturdy enough to stand up on its own without securing to the wall (although once he starts pulling up and standing we will probably need to) it can be really flexible for now. The gate is great vs having to step over. Tall enough so the dogs can't easily jump over (or at least aren't tempted to try.

Purchased for the base of a very wide staircase. Mounting screws that are included are tiny and not effective, we used our own. Unfortunately you may only remove even numbers of panels making for a little less flexibility in the setup. Just installed the product, so can't say how well it will hold up over time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is excellent for baby containment, I have a Houdini and this gate has put a halt to his great disappearing acts. He is able to open latches on other gates but not this one! Highly recommend, easy to put together and install!

The gate is sturdy but some important things made me return it before using it: The gate latch is spring loaded with makes it impossible to open with one hand while holding a baby. The wall mount screws are tiny, about an inch long. I dont know how they expect the mounts to hold without using your own screws. Positives are that the gate is solid and folds to many positions. this is useful if you are extending it wall to wall, it can contort around many angles. Seems easy to install.

We love the length of the gate. It extends across the entire room keeping our grandson away from all the cords from the computer and other electronic devices. We did not plan to bolt it to the wall so we could use it in multiple locations. However, we're afraid my grandson may pull it over when he tries to pull himself up on it.

The railing is of good quality. Easy to operate. The brackets are good, but the screw provided are way too short. I got it to confine a 12 pound doxie. The first night she tore it from the wall. I got longer, heavier screws, and now it is fine. Use longer screws. A child can easily break the short screws from the wall.
