the gate is very long. the gate come put together already in the box. all you have to do is nail the plastic pieces in the wall. the one thing that didn't work for me was the screw s that go into the wall, they were small and they only gave me 4 instead of 8, if you even touched the gate the screws came out of the wall so i would recommend getting steadier nails. with nails i put in it protect my toddler from getting into things. very sturdy gate.

I have a little dog on training time. The configurable baby gate 8 metal panels is the best solution. I don't think it safe for kids or not because the block security door is so easy to open but for the dog inside is awesome. We can do get in or out easy to fed pet comportably . Beside that, it Is foldable to carry anywhere to keep dog stay still inside. My kids and my husband are so happy. We had to return the plastic panels he bought a week before because our little dog can climb up and jump out easily. Thank you Regalo.

We bought this gate almost a year ago and while it does its job, the plastic is brittle and breaks over time. It originally came broken but we actually use it as an oversized doorway gate so the peices we use werent affected. I called the company and they did send me replacemant peices but they were hard to repair so I never bothered doing all three broken peices. Now a year later, two of the 'doorway' peices just broke. I called the company to see if they would send me a new gate and they said they couldnt do that. Its dissapointing, thats for sure.

Keeping up with him and keeping him out of places all the time sometimes just can't happen. Absolutely love this. Definitely wish I would have had with my oldest son. I can move it upstairs or downstairs depending the need especially when it gets cooler to put around the fireplace! Would be great if you had animals to keep separate also.

I really like that it's long and has a gate to walk though instead of going over, however even if it's screwed on the wall it's still wobbly. I was able to adjust the length of this by removing two frames which was difficult and stressful. The instructions do say this gate can be used also like a play pen but I just use it to keep boundaries between where my puppies can be during the night and when the family is gone. My only problem is that the screws were not inside the packaging of the gate, so I had to look for some other screws in my home which worked fine. Overall it's a great product, I really wish I can adjust more of this gate and remove one more frame but I couldn't since there is a tricky pattern of how it is assembled to each frame.

very disappointed. Ordered this to be deliverred on Thursday, it was delievered Friday. the box was missing a huge chunk so gate was completely exposed. All plastic was ripped apart and all styrofoam eas broken apart and shredses jnfo peices. Was supposed to come with 8 screws.. there were only 3.. the little bag for screws was also ripped open. Wondering if they aent me a gate that eas damaged and returned by someone else already given the state of the packaging and missing materials. Wasted my money.

This product suited my purposes. I like that you were able to take out sections to make it smaller and could configure it to fit your space. I don't feel that it is made that well. It is a little flimsy. Also, when I opened the package I found that two of the metal rods were bent. Since I had to make ours smaller, I replaced one of them with another that wasn't bent and used one of the least bent rods.

We purchased this gate as a fireplace guard so that we could use our gas fireplace while our two year-old granddaughter is in the familyroom with us. The flexibility of this gate allowed us to configure it so that it provides a perfect barrier to the fireplace. I was concerned the metal would heat up if we kept the fireplace burned for too long, but that hasn't been the case.

My 2 year old broke this her first time in it. I had to use a zip tie to hold the two broken sections together, pathetic since I paid $100 for this pen. The joints where the panels connect is plastic and poorly made; the bars fall out too. She is able to push the pen around with very little effort. It is not sturdy enough to hold shape either. If you make it a square, they can easily push on it and the joints will pop and snap and it looses shape and distorts. I chose this because it was metal and was supposed to be sturdier than the plastic ones. It's not, it just costs way more. Please look at other options, this is a waste of your money.
