I put this gate up when my daughter was 6 months old and it is still up. She's now 15 months old. We were able to make a separate play area for her away from the dogs and other no touch items in our living room. It was easy to install. My only problem so far is that even after tightening the hinge tops the unit still bends and moves with some toddler force. We have hardwood flooring so this movement has left scratches on the floor. I wished they would have put some rubber or felt protection on the bottoms for those installing on hardwood. If you have a carpeted area you shouldn't have a problem and maybe it won't move as much since you'll have traction. Good product overall and we have this installed just like the picture using it as an open stretched gate attached to two walls. I have not tried this as a gated playpen.

We needed something the expanded between 2 walls, about 14 feet, so the options are limited. This will fit our needs. Husband had to rebolt it to the wall, the screws provided weren't long & we didn't anchor into the dry wall so they ripped out pretty quickly. We have since put in longer screws to studs.

I can't be more pleased about this purchase... I love the fact it comes with hardware and ready to attach to a wall.. I was able to put this from wall to wall creating a big enclosed space for my child to play, run and just make a mess with all her toys :) you can easily make this a self standing roundish play yard. I did purchase some sticky squares and place them on the bottom of the play yard sections to avoid my child from sliding them since I placed them on a tiled floor. It is high enough for a two year old and sturdy enough to endure continue shaking.. By your child.. :)

The gate does what I need it to do . It works well without fastening it to the wall. It is light weight and easily moved. Each panel clicks in place to fit an odd opening. If you want a gate that is sturdy and heavy and does not budge then get another product. Common sense tells me that I still have to monitor my child with any product. I can open it one handed, after practice, so a child can not easily open it. You can bolt it into the wall. I placed it behind my couch and along the window so I did not have to use the wall fasteners. This gate met my needs.

This gate is a piece of junk! I liked the size but it broke after only a year. My daughter broke the gate when shaking it...a normal activity for toddlers. I contacted the company and they said replacement parts are not available for this model. JUNK!

I have a little dog on training time. The configurable baby gate 8 metal panels is the best solution. I don't think it safe for kids or not because the block security door is so easy to open but for the dog inside is awesome. We can do get in or out easy to fed pet comportably . Beside that, it Is foldable to carry anywhere to keep dog stay still inside. My kids and my husband are so happy. We had to return the plastic panels he bought a week before because our little dog can climb up and jump out easily. Thank you Regalo.

We really like the baby fence. It's very sturdy, the gate works well and is easy to operate, it was easy to set up, and it was easy to adjust the size. The one problem that I found is that you can only change the size by 2 fence pieces. That means you can't change the size by 24 inches, only 48. The way the fence is designed it has male and female parts. They don't give you enough parts to end with two female or two male fence pieces which means you can't change the length of the fence by just one fence piece (24 inches). It would be a quick fix by the company. All they would have to do is include a couple extra pieces to allow you to end with two of the same fence pieces.

Lighter weight than the North State 3-in-1 Metal Superyard if that is important to the buyer but little less quality in the making in my opinion. Little bit of unpainted areas where vertical bars attach to horizontal noticed. I don't remember the gate latch so cannot comment on that.

We have a wood burning stove in our living room. We use it to heat half our house in the winter time. We also have a 14 month old grandson who is big for his age (33" tall and about 30 lbs.), very curious, and is on a mission to seek and destroy all things labeled "child proof." Not a great combination, right? Well, this was the perfect solution. It was easy to install and held up to all the shaking, leaning on, and other "testing" our toddler tried. Once he figured out he couldn't knock it down, toss it around, or climb it, he was no longer interested. Our living room is toasty warm and our grandson is safe from harm. I also feel better knowing that our older dogs can't cozy up too close to the stove anymore.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used this to make mini play yard for my toddlers, the panels so sturdy and attached very well, easy to assemble or remove, just make sure to loose the plastic joints before pulling apart the gate so they won't break.the gate lock is great, the kids are won't able to open it easily, it's really help me as a mom.
