I bought this more to keep the dog where I wanted him then to keep the kids corraled but it works great for both situations I love that I can bend it and make a play pen for the dog if someone comes to the door or confine him to my room with the door open but it is also big enough that it will go the length of my playroom!!! Love this gate better then any others and I have been through at least five different kinds

We've had this gate structure for almost a month and it exceeds my expectations. It's nearly 20 feet and is totally solid/ stable. We use it everyday to fence off different parts of the house for baby to play and to keep the dogs at bay! Would totally recommend this - no complaints! Our kiddo is just over a year and not quite walking. She crawls over to the gate and pulls on it but it doesn't move. She's persistent, too! Great buy!

This gate is amazing and perfect. It's super easy to set up, keeps my toddler out of the dangers of the kitchen but it's still easy for me to walk through with the gate opening. No more awkward shuffle over other baby gates. This has been a life changer! We also used it at a family get together as a safe play area for 4 babies and toddlers. So happy to have this Regalo gate in my home!

We ordered this metal play yard to help protect our infant grandchildren from the fireplace insert. We were unable to find a suitable fireplace screen that would protect them from crawling near the fire. This playpen did so much more than we expected. We used it to form a play pen, as a fire place screen and it also protected the gifts under the tree. We will use it to block the kitchen entrance and keep pets out of the area. This is so easy to set up, folds up nicely when not in use, and is very versatile. My son is buying one for his house for his mobile 10 month old.

We have a wood burning stove in our living room. We use it to heat half our house in the winter time. We also have a 14 month old grandson who is big for his age (33" tall and about 30 lbs.), very curious, and is on a mission to seek and destroy all things labeled "child proof." Not a great combination, right? Well, this was the perfect solution. It was easy to install and held up to all the shaking, leaning on, and other "testing" our toddler tried. Once he figured out he couldn't knock it down, toss it around, or climb it, he was no longer interested. Our living room is toasty warm and our grandson is safe from harm. I also feel better knowing that our older dogs can't cozy up too close to the stove anymore.

I love this gate. The panels do come apart so you can make it one panel or the full length. It is a great size and perfect for what I was looking for! It is taller than I expected, I did not check the height measurements before buying, so that was a pleasant surprise. The latch for door is great too, it took a bit of getting used to but now I do it without evem thinking. I have had it for about two weeks, and would recommend. The only thing I would be careful with age and size. If you are using full 8 panels, its going to be not as sturdy. But i do not have connected into wall yet and my 21 lb daughter holds on without knocking ot over yet but I have supported on the ends. But basically just keep in mind the longer the gate the less stability. I would def buy another though.

We needed something the expanded between 2 walls, about 14 feet, so the options are limited. This will fit our needs. Husband had to rebolt it to the wall, the screws provided weren't long & we didn't anchor into the dry wall so they ripped out pretty quickly. We have since put in longer screws to studs.

It is awesome! I was able, being 7 months pregnant, and disabled to assemble and mount to the wall myself. It fits nicely in my 10ft opening that we wanted to enclose for our 1 year old daughter, in an odd "L-shape" and we have two extra sections that aren't, as it will go up to 19 feet (I think that's what it said) We spent a lot of time looking for a gate that worked with that odd opening, and this was the perfect one! Price was right, and it's sturdy enough for my daughter, who is a climber. I would definitely recommend this to a friend, actually, I already have!

I was looking for a gate to separate my dogs from each other (a 10 lb and 20 lb vs. a 70 lb) who wanted to claim alpha status. Of course, the little ones were here first and they do not recognize the size or disposition of the 70 lb. Dog gates are so expensive and more suited for puppies or yard dogs. This gate/pen worked out perfectly! I needed the metal due to the size of my 70 pounder. The one hand gate opener is a big benefit. I also love the fact that it can be used in several configurations. I ended up with 2 panels left over that we used on another project. I would recommend screwing the bottom of the gate to the floor if you use this for indoor animals - just for more stability.

We got this gate to go around a freestanding wood stove and it works perfect. It mounts easily to the wall and has kept our 17 month old from getting burned. The extra length is great, it doesn't get hot, and it is sturdy enough to handle my toddler.
