This was so big we divided it by purchasing some extra wall mounts. Only one bit of advice. If its not bending loosen it. Don't force it. Its a great product and sturdy. One draw back we fixed with a piece of paper was rattling. I used a bit of paper in the mounts and there was no more rattle.

This gate has a lot of GREAT features, and solved all our needs. The only complaint I have, is the 4 tiny screws that come with it (You need 8, by the way) are only 1/4" long and pulled out of the wall almost immediately. Once we got longer anchor screws and replaced them, it's working great!

I bought this to enclose he open end of our patio for grandchildren and our dog. It a great weight and free standing so no need to attach to the house. The gate for entry is great and it added a touch of class in the visual department. We are very pleased with this purchase.

This gate is not worth the money! A gate for this price should last through all children, not just a month! First, the gate is very difficult to put up. Only certain sections will connect to the wall so if you need to remove pieces to shorten the gate, it doesn't always work out. You really have to make your area fit the gate instead of the other way around. My husband ended up taklng each piece apart, trying to find a combination that worked, and three connecting pieces broke in this process- before we even had the gate up, it was broken! Another problem with the gate is the connecting pieces. Even though the sections of the gate are metal, the connecting pieces are plastic. Our 10-month old son broke several of these pieces just trying to get through within a month of owning the gate. We literally had to duct tape the sections together until we were able to get a new gate. On a positive side, the child-proof lock did keep our son from entering the swinging door without assistance from either ofus. I imagine it would have taken him quite a while to figure out how to open it!

This gate is a piece of junk! I liked the size but it broke after only a year. My daughter broke the gate when shaking it...a normal activity for toddlers. I contacted the company and they said replacement parts are not available for this model. JUNK!

I can't be more pleased about this purchase... I love the fact it comes with hardware and ready to attach to a wall.. I was able to put this from wall to wall creating a big enclosed space for my child to play, run and just make a mess with all her toys :) you can easily make this a self standing roundish play yard. I did purchase some sticky squares and place them on the bottom of the play yard sections to avoid my child from sliding them since I placed them on a tiled floor. It is high enough for a two year old and sturdy enough to endure continue shaking.. By your child.. :)

I have purchased two of these gates. I really liked the first one, so I ordered a second one. However, the second one has a different latch system than the first one. The new latch system is harder to operate and the gate does not automatically lock when you release the latch. Thus, while it may be harder for a child to open the gate themselves, the chances of accidentally leaving it open are much higher. Also, it is difficult for me to open the gate with one hand with the new latch system. We have other gates in our house which are a better combination of "hard for the child to open" and "easy for the parent to operate".

I would not recommend this flimsy thing if you need to keep your baby safe. Mine came damaged and the door does not shut properly do to warping so I cable tied it shut and just step over it. My dog could open it easily if it were not for the cable ties. The panels are slightly warped, just enough to make it look kind of junk. It works ok for me because I am just trying to keep a 10 pound Shih Tzu out of my homeschool room so she doesn’t eat crayons and distract my son. I wouldn’t trust it if the gate was there to keep her safe though. I’ve had it installed for about 12 hours and it looks kind of junky and like it has been used and abused for a long time. It’s just too much trouble to return it though.

Gate is the size I expected, and looks nice, but I have not figured out a way to make it a straight line that cannot be moved. The instructions do not mention if it is possible so I have accepted that it is now. I had hope to section of a rectangular area, but have settled for an uneven space instead.

Terrible. It took 4 days for my 1 year old to realize that if she pushed hard enough it would unlatch and open. The latch is very short. I guess since it is so long that it’s not sturdy. So when you push on it, the latch just slides right off. I have to use a childproof cabinet lock to keep her from opening.
