Super easy to start and cleans very well.

I purchased this to clean my concrete and deck in NC, where high humidity takes its toll with mold/mildew. I am very impressed with both the very easy start on the first pull, and the cleaning power of this unit. Uniform pressure-cleaning across the nozzle width. I like the large gas tank also as compared to some of the smaller units where you need to refill every 30-minutes.

Great Value!

I've had, in the past, two other power washers which I loaned to two daughters who never got around to returning them. Anyway, I know the features I wanted in the most recently purchased washer: Simple to assemble, plenty of power, snap on/off nozzles, oil drain plug, big tires, easy to start, and ergonomic design. And affordable. This gem met the requirements. I like it better than the first two I bought!

A beast

I needed a power washer for refinishing my deck and this one fit the bill. Assembly and set up was easy, it even came with the oil it needed. After 2 pulls, it started right up. On the first day of using it, I had it running for about 3-4 hours. I went through 2 tanks of gas, which seemed like a lot but there was several years' worth of grime to get off the deck. A couple of times just after restarting it the pressure would dip, but then it would recover and run for a long time at full strength. It may have been a little too strong for my wood deck as it did leave some streaks, but that's probably also due to user error. Overall I'm very happy with it and am looking for other things around the house that need cleaning so I have an excuse to use it again.

Ease of use, motor and pump are easy to access

This power washer was easy to start after receiving it. It was easy to access the parts of it for oil adding, parts checking and adjusting. It also has good power for cleaning my house and deck. I also like the big wheels. The wheels make it easy to move around the yard. It was also easy to put on the few parts that were not factory installed.

Amazing power!

I purchased this pressure washer after looking at many other models. I bought it primarily for cleaning my patio, patio furniture, decks, SUV, and concrete. I was able to assemble it myself, and I have read over the section on scheduled maintenance to keep it running smoothly. So glad I purchased!

Easy Setup and to use

I bought this a week ago and used it right away to clean my pool deck and patio. It did an amazing job and was easy to use. My only complaint was the hose is a bit difficult to wrap for storage. The should have put two hook to wrap around . Powerful enough for most home owner needs.

Easy to use and very effective

I was impressed with how easy this Westinghouse PW is to use and after assembly I was washing the front of my house and walkway. It was so much more effective the my previous PW which was electric. This new Westinghouse PW did that job in a fraction of the time.

Detailed initial review of Westinghouse-WPX3400

Our verdict: Excellent experience so far. This is our initial experience and hope it continues. Pressure washer choice. Choosing between a consumer-grade and prosumer-grade gas pressure washer, we considered what were our specific cleaning tasks and environments. We've experienced the limitations of electric and needed something of an upgrade without breaking the bank. Power. A 212cc engine combined with an axial cam pump makes this pressure washer capable of achieving a pressure of 3400 PSI (approximately 57 times greater than that of a standard garden hose) and a flow rate of up to 2.6 GPM (manufacture claim). Corresponding these values is a cleaning power CU of 8840 Cleaning Units (3400 X 2.6). An extremely efficient machine in its price range. Upgraded to the Westinghouse WXP3400 power washer from SunJoe's Electric pressure washer for the power, durability, and reliability that Westinghouse gas powered pressure washer is known for. Soap injection: Detergent storage is ensured by a non-removable 0.5 gal tank. The Westinghouse WPX3400 includes an automatic soap dilution mechanism, allowing detergent to be diluted to the ratio of 12:1 with ease. Connection of a soap nozzle triggers the pressure washer to automatically incorporate the detergent into the water stream. Power washer was very well packaged with proper parts protected. It was almost 100% assembled Pro: Made/assembled in the USA with parts from other countries Pro: Very user friendly machine Setup was straightforward following the directions. Startup: Installed the supplied motor oil and some fresh ethanol-free gas, started the cold water flowing, put the choke on, turned the power on/off switch to ON and pulled the starter rope of the Recoil Starter and the motor started with the FIRST PULL! Just like is should. No smoke, no rattles, no surging. Best practices. Tip to notice! 1: After you're done using the machine and while the pressure washer is turned off, pull the recoil handle 5 - 6 times. This should remove most of the remaining liquid inside the pump. Tip to notice! 2: After First 5 Hours, Change engine break in oil. Kinda an old school procedure, but it does make a difference. After that initial oil change, follow the manuals maintenance schedule. Tip to notice! 3: Remember, before starting motor to start the cold water flowing into the pump and squeeze the trigger until water flows through it (it will be a slow flow as the pump is not on yet) Then engage the trigger lock and start the motor. Never run the motor with the pump dry. Tip to notice! 4: Put a 5/8 in. Hose Washer with Screen and use them on the pressure washers to avoid damaging the positive displacement pump and plugging the tips. You can still get debris in your hose from dragging it across the yard. It's always a good practice to put the screen directly on the pressure washer inlet. You can get them from any big box hardware store. They are in the plumbing section. Cheap preventive maintenance, just remember to periodically check them. Tip to notice! 5: While running and not spraying water, the pump can heat up very quickly (lack of water cooling pump), you will notice a black "Thermal Relief Valve" draining out the warm water. Keep this valve operational. Tip to notice! 6: After your all done and the machine is off, the household supplied water is turned off, the gas is turned off, make sure you press the wand handle to release any residual water pressure in the hose/gun. I noticed this after trying to remove the high pressure hose as the M22 connector was very tight. I thought I had overtightened the connector. But after releasing the water pressure, the connector twisted off easily CON's: Low oil shutdown = No, doesn't have one Soap tank capacity = 0.5 G Would like to have a clear fluid indicator on tank Intake cold water hose connection points directly toward right wheel, with vibration will cause a hole in the cold water input hose. Outward high pressure hose also directly toward right wheel. had to secure hose to upright frame with a small section of a pool noodle and zip ties to prevent hose failure Conclusion: We've initially used this pressure washer to clean a cement patio, vinyl fencing, and some vinyl siding and were not disappointed and we believe you will not disappointed either.

Works very well

It was super easy to set up and use and works well. The instructions and set up process were outstanding. It performed flawlessly until I left it out in the rain for a couple hours and I couldn't get it to start again until I drained and refilled the gas, and removed and dried the spark plug. I haven't left it out in the rain again and it's run just fine since. Conclusion: It works great just don't leave it out in the rain.

Easy to assemble and use

The assembly took about 5 minutes and even came with the necessary oil. Filled up the tank with gas and was ready to go. Very easy. The washer has a lot of power and is very versatile. Cleaned the pool deck, driveway, fence and even tried it on our awning. Exactly what I was looking for.
