I spent 25 years in Army/Joint Special Operations and beat my body up over that whole time. Parachute jumps, combat tours, 100 pound rucksacks left their toll on my back. I've looked for mattresses that would help me sleep abs finally decided that I needed to buy the best. My Tempur is the bomb and I'm finally getting the sleep I need, without the pain often associated with that. Loved it so much, I bought the massaging base and pillows. Love these products!

You can not go wrong with a Tempurpedic. They might be costly, but in the end your body will reward you. I had a knock off version and within a year there was not a day where I woke up with no back pain. Since I got my mattress I have been sleeping so well. I can only recommend it.

I normally toss and turn a lot at night because I can't get comfortable and I get really hot but this bed keeps me from sweating and I no longer wake up tossing and turning. I also have noticed that I don't have aches and pains when I wake up since I began sleeping on this bed, and I feel more rested. I really can't say enough good things about it. My husband and I waited ten years to purchase a good mattress (we were so confused by the number of choices and the prices). We went to a local furniture/appliance store in Greenville, SC and the sales person was so knowledgeable that we knew instantly what would work. Although it is firm, there are times when we are deep in sleep and don't want to leave the bed at our alarm. There are mornings when I have the feeling that I've been in the most amazing cocoon, and the best part is my back doesn't hurt in the morning either (unlike our old mattress). Thank you Temperpedic for making this mattress. Even our parents visiting during Thanksgiving asked us what in the world they were sleeping on the next morning--they'd never had such comfortable sleep. I bragged about this bed to them and hope they'll get one too.

For someone who woke up every morning with pack pain, this bed has made a world of difference. Great quality. And my husband and I love the split king. I have a firm mattress and he was able to get his medium. We also love, love, love the power base.

My previous bed was also a Tempurpedic. I used it for 10 years and it was time for a change. The new ProAdapt (firm for me) is incredible. I'm a side sleeper, and this bed provides the firm support I need. I don't like the feeling of sinking into a bed, so if that's your thing, look at a medium or soft version of this mattress. I also bought the Ergo Extend adjustable base and it's a must have if you read in bed or watch TV. Yes Tempurpedic beds are very expensive compared to the competition, but I believe that over time, they provide the best value. The firmness extends to the edges of the bed, making getting into and out of bed much easier on my back. Check it out and get one!

We purchased this mattress after trying it out at the store and reading great reviews on it, my wife is a back and side sleeper and I'm a stomach sleeper and the salesperson highly recommended it. I have always had the standard plush pillow tops and never had an issue but we decided to try one of these out and it was a huge mistake. For stomach sleepers your lower back sinks into the mattress and cause the most uncomfortable sleep and lower back pain when you wake up. For back and side sleepers I'm sure this mattress works wonders but if you're a stomach sleeper I would highly recommend switching your sleeping position or find a compromise on a standard mattress with your significant other, this one is going back and getting exchanged for a standard pillow top again.

I use to wake up every morning with back pain. My first night sleep on my pro adapt mattress was very comfortable and NO back pain the next morning or since sleeping on the pro adapt. Love that the cover can be removed and washed. And it super cool, don't need fan on at night.
