Was hesitant getting another foam mattress, especially one that would set us back thousands - especially since we had just had a hybrid foam/spring mattress from a different manufacturer fail on us within 5 years. We went with the brand name and reputation with this purchase and you really are getting what you paid for. We got this in a Cal King and it has been just under 30 days since we've had it delivered. The first few days were rough with our bodies adjusting to this great mattress, but now I look forward to lying down each night and feeling my body supported by the firm mattress. As soon as I get in bed and lie on my back,I feel the support where I need it and will sometimes feel my back cracking from the pressure relief of the mattress. I'm an average sized guy 5'10" and my wife is smaller framed 5'4" and we both wake up now with no pain as we had in our last bed. In true Tempur-pedic fashion, we don't feel each other get in bed since we sometimes have opposing schedules due to shift work. We sleep through the night undisturbed. We still need to get use to very little give when getting in bed for the first time each night and not feeling that initial bounce. This is a FIRM mattress and is the firmest we've found, even compared to traditional spring mattresses. Time will tell though, as the displays we've seen of this mattress in stores feel a tad softer than what we've got - but still firm.

I wanted a firm mattress and this one is perfect! Best sleep I have had in a long time. Had a different memory foam mattress that just wasn't cutting it after 7 years, which really was 2 years longer than I should have put up with it. So happy to have this mattress.

delivery was not acceptable... had to reset and i gave them a cash bonus without knowing they did not do it correctly nor assist with placing wires under bed into brackets. I still have not completed this task yet. they did not place wiring under bed and wires are dragging on floor not as comfortable as expected or not any real improvement in the mattress I had before. I did have a tempur pedic mattress pad on top of my mattress I used prior. I just do not see or feel the difference for pricing.

Initially, we thought the bed wasn't going to be comfortable--it's so different from a normal mattress. It can feel board-stiff when you first plop down on it, but that is easy to adapt to because once you're settled in for sleep, it's seriously the most comfortable mattress we've ever slept on. Those little annoyances in a regular mattress (like feeling like you're rolling into the middle when sleeping with your spouse, or the whole dang thing jiggles when she gets up at night) are 100% gone. If you can afford it, I highly, highly recommend. The one thing I don't like about it is that it can trap some serious heat. I sleep very hot, and even with the thermostat set to 64 F, I still sometimes wake up sweating. I should have bought the cooling mattress but it's more expensive.

I've tried other brands of memory foam mattresses and they don't not even come close to the quality and comfort of a true Tempur-pedic! My back issues and quality of sleep have greatly improved since owning a Tempur-Pedic and no previous mattress that I have owned ever came close to the support and comfort of a real Tempur-Pedic. I will always own a true Tempur-Pedic mattress. It is one of the best investments anyone can make and well worth it!

I knew I wanted to go wit a great mattress. I been buying discount brands and been paying the price (fatigue and back pain) as I'm ordering my furniture for my new place I see this one. I lay on it. Instantly I feel I met my match. I haven't even been able to get a firm mattress that was hard but soft at the same time. It's so hard to explain but pro adapt y'all got it baby yes! First time I slept on it after I got it delivered and set up was like a little nap (about an hour) my body was in shock. It had been the first time in years I felt so refreshed from a nap. I was amazed. First full night of sleep soon as I layed down and the bed just cradled me like nothing I have ever felt before I was asleep in no time. In the past when I was dealing wit back pain from sleeping on a horrible bed I would sleep on the floor for the firm ness. No need for that anymore. This bed is heaven sent. The best by far. I recommend the firm for those who haven't been able to find comfort in other firm selection because it's too soft. The price is worth it

We absolutely love this bed! Prior to this we had bought a "memory foam" bed on line that was suppose to be amazing (little to no reviews, no one heard of it) and what ended up happening is, it was not good enough! I would get out of bed and my whole body ached! I thought, "I guess this is what old feels like" (I'm 30 years old). My husband stands on his feet all day and would complain of back pain, again we assumed it was being over weight and getting old (he's 33). To our surprise the bed was firmer than the show model and took some getting used to, maybe 5 nights. I immediately noticed a difference when I woke up and stood up from the bed, no pain, and no aches! I feel completely young again! My husband hasn't had back pain since! He has more energy now and we could not be happier! We would recommend this type of bed for everyone! There is a reason why they are the best and we now know, we cant put a price a good sleep! This is what I imagine mattresses in heaven feel like. I had serious back pains with our old mattress. I knew I had to get serious about my mattress choice. I was hesitant to spend this much but it was without a doubt money well spent. My back pains are gone and I am no longer tossing and turning at night. You can't put a price on a good nights sleep.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is our 2nd Tempurpedic set. We went from an adjustable king to an adjustable split king. Although I find it as comfortable as the first, there are some things that are annoying. First the mattresses slide apart even after we put anti-skid pads under them. Secondly, the split set makes changing sheets much more difficult since the mattresses are so heavy.

We ordered a split King and couldn't be happier. We thought the split might be a problem, but the beds fit nicely together and we barely notice the split. We highly recommend.
