[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I did not make a mistake when I got the Kitchen Aid Variable Speed Hand Blender it is the best choice I've ever made. I really love this hand blender and use it very often in the place of my old fashion Blender with 2 beaters. What I like about this hand blender is the size and the design. I also like how easy, and convenient it is to use. There is not a cord to worry about or to get in the way when mixing and it is light in weight. It takes the hand blender two hours to fully charge but you can also do a quick charge in 20 minutes. The charge can last up to making (25) bowls of 12 oz of soup or 7 batches and the quick charge would make one bowl of soup or one smoothie. It has a statis light to inform you when it is fully charged or needs to be charged. I like using my hand blender for making my morning smoothies for breakfast before leaving out to work in the mornings. I have used it to blend many things I have made some milkshakes, sauces, purees, dressings, salsas, chocolate mousse and dips. This is such a handy little gadget to have in the kitchen. It came with a blender arm, blending jar with lid, charging plug and pan guard. The pan guard is removable it is good for helping to protect my cookware. What I like most it is blender arm can be put in the dishwasher. I would highly reccommend this product. It is a very durable and a great quality blender. It the first hand blender I've ever owned and I am very pleased and happy with it. It performace is great.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great product. Easy to put together and easy to charge. Once you get the hang of how to operate it out worked very good. In order to work, both buttons need to be pushed at once. It does not create a splash like other mixers and is very quiet when operating.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've used this a couple of times and like the way it works. We only cook for two so the smaller size isn't a problem. The blades are very sharp! Needed a bandaid. The blade is smooth and sits down low so it does a good job cutting. The top can be a bit tricky to lock on or off.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the KitchenAid variable speed hand blender in a matte black finish. It looks and feels professional. It has a heavy weight to it, which makes it feel durable to me but it could make it difficult for someone to use for very long in one session. It came with a pan guard which is nice so my pans don’t get scratched but it is a plastic piece that I’m not sure will hold up well over time. I love that the blender is cordless so I can use it wherever I want without finding a place to plug it in or the cord getting in the way. It seems to charge up fast, full in about 2 hours, and lasts a long time on one charge. To use the blender, you have to press two buttons at the same time. There is a large button on the palm side that has to be held down for the variable speed button to work. This is a good safety feature but can be difficult to manipulate. Also, the variable speed is one button that varies with how far you press it in. My hands aren’t huge, so it was tough for me to hold both buttons and try to vary the speed. Overall I think it is a great hand blender, it just might take me some more practice to get used to!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this blender a week ago and love it! It works very well. I’ve used it for blending salsa and soup and it was perfect. I would definitely recommend this if you have something small to do and don’t want to use your full size blender.

I was very happy with the product for about 18 months and then it just quit working! Nothing at all!
