But once I adjusted to this mattress, it has been smooth sailing ever since. No more tossing and turning, no more waking up in the middle of the night! I wake up rested and refreshed, and no aching back. The mattress conforms to my body and supports every inch. After five long years of sleeping on a miserable Serta Willowbrook that broke down just after the grace period expired, I'm finally getting the good nights sleep I needed. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our original Tempur-pedic mattress from before they were rated for firmness was in need of a replacement. We tried several models and firmness ratings before settling on the Adapt Medium. It is as completely comfortable as our original and we are sure we will have many years of great sleep on our new mattress. Once you have experienced the comfort of Tempur-pedic, no other mattress will do.

I thought this mattress was going to a lot softer. My wife and I would get sore hips from our old mattress and we thought this would be different. The mattress in the store felt great but it was in the showroom for years. How many years do I have to wait before it breaks in?

I have had the adapt about 3 weeks. No longer have shoulder pain still some back and neck pain. Not sure if my neck pain is coming from pillow or mattress. Going to change pillow tonight and see if that makes a difference. Also mattress was much firmer than I anticipated. Not sure if I like that yet,

My husband and I are very happy with this bed. We see the big difference between a regular mattress and the tempur-pedic. We don't have the same aches and pains as we previously did. We don't toss and turn as often and we feel more rested. This has been the best decision we made.

We bought tempur adapt med with the power base. WORST purchase ever. Waste of $4000. Don't buy from tempur authorized retailers. Paid cash april 2023, Took 3 weeks and threatening to have the debit reversed for delivery, white glove delivery is 2 teens with your mattress out of the box strapped to a short bed pickup with the base folded in the dirty bed. The mattress is so hard even after 6 weeks we had to add a topper to make it bearable. When the base is used the mattress does not bend and floats above the base unless you sit on it and then the foot of the bed just bends straight up from the hip leaves 18 inches of space between the bottom of the mattress and the base. There is NO support from tempur if you buy from a retailer and tempur doesn't care if they have bad retailers. When called Tempur didn't even care when the retailer delivered FAKE tempur pillows and sheets (different brand on the tags and packaging sold as tempur) I wonder about the mattress being fake too as it's not like the one we tried. And beware tempur does not require the 90 night trial be honored by their retailers or the free returns/exchanges. So if you want to try one of these don't use an "authorized" retailer because tempur doesn't back the purchase. The only time i wish i would have bought online.

Excellent sleeping experience. I was having difficulty sleeping with my old foam mattress (it wasn't a Temp-P) & with the new Temp-O mattress, I sleep so much better. So far, I love this mattress & can't imagine a better one. It's the entry level mattress too.

Mattress is beyond firm. And I love a firm mattress. I was ready to exchange for diff mattress but the Salesman said it needs to be broken in (alot)! He recommended walking, kneeling on the mattress daily the 1st month to break in. It finally is more comfortable. Just not sure it's worth the $$.

Unfortunately we have not had a good experience with this mattress . Basically seemed comfortable but both my wife and myself are waking up with Back Pain. We had very High hopes but very disappointed. In the process of exchanging the Mattress our customer rep wanted to boost the cost up $ 1200 more for your firm Mattress. Wow this seems like we made a poor choice They are making a effort with another Mattress and seems things are jumping around to other products in there stock . My wife will need to revisit the store before they make the exchange to discover if this was the one we actually tested . So we do appreciate your concerns but we are unable to give you a satisfactory rating and seems it will be another brand You can keep in touch if you want to find out how this turns out
