I love the comfort of my new Tempur-Pedic Medium Hybrid mattress but the foam makes it hot to sleep. It holds your body heat so I'm sleeping hot during the night. I hope I get used to this because it's Spring now and it will be hotter in the summer months. For comfort though, I love the feel of this mattress. Just wish it wasn't so hot. If you sleep hot I might NOT recommend this mattress.

Sooo comfy! I actually work, play, eat and sleep on this mattress! I take calls from my bed, love eating in bed and I get the best sleep ever! And, note a sound sleep = a sound mind. :-) It feels almost like I'm floating on a gel is in the mattress. It is soft and pliable yet firm enough to give the exact right support. Honestly it's the BEST mattress I've ever slept on! True perfection!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Twelve years ago we spent a week at a lake house and got to try out a Tempur-Pedic mattress. We were sold after that week. Never had I slept so well, and my husband's back was happy too. It took us a few years to finally purchase our own, but I cannot imagine ever changing to another product. We bought a queen in 2015 and a king in 2019. Both are the same type, the original formula. Love them. For some reason I prefer the queen mattress, but don't sleep on it because my husband prefers the king. Both are wonderful. For the years we used the queen, I would climb into bed and say to my husband, "Aren't you glad we finally got this." Not exaggerating. It felt so good at the end of the day climbing into it. Still like the king mattress very much but it does not feel quite the same to me. It may be the frame. The queen has the flat foundation on a standard metal frame. The King has a power base so we cannot have a flat foundation under it, so that may be the difference. I can recommend both mattresses though. Love the traditional Adapt. It feels very firm at first but completely adapts to my body as I move.

I am not going to be critical nor do I want to change anyone's decision to purchase this product. But I as 1 person's review would like to tell you my experience. I have slept on a Memory Foam 4 inch top with 6 inches of medium foam as base for 13 years. The complaint I have with that old mattress is after 13 years it had "memorized" my pressure points that it became unbearable when moving from that "memory position" to another, causing back pain and shoulder pain. Using the Tempur-Adapt mattress, I no longer have any back or shoulder pain. I have also found that when lying on back I don't need a pillow. I also have a Tempurpedic Adjustable Base, which I wonder why I never purchased years ago. Just raising the head end only 2 inches, NO MORE SNORING...no longer being woke up in the middle of the night from spouse pushing on me to stop. I purchased a cover for the mattress which impedes the heat transfer that Tempurpedic is known for. That cover disappeared the first night! It's only been a month - but I will let you know in several years if I have the same attitude toward this product. Maybe I will move it to 5 stars...

We have had this mattress for a few weeks. So far, we have no complaints! It is very comfortable and we are sleeping well. We purchased this after owning a spring mattress that was worn out and caused back pain and difficulty getting comfortable. The Adapt Medium is the perfect firmness for us. The mattress feels like it hugs you when you lay on it. So far, I would highly recommend!

I can say the quality of my and my husband's sleep has truly increased. We selected the medium support mattress and have no regrets at all! We absolutely love it! It provides the perfect balance between semi-firm support and plush comfort, which we totally love because it truly combines the best of both worlds. We don't feel like we're laying down on a wooden plank or about to sink into a pile of cotton, the balance is simply amazing. We have also been enjoying the cool to touch technology and now I have actually been able to sleep through most of the night since I'm not tossing and turning due to heat uncomfortability. And last but not least, the pressure relief comfort layer has helped ease so much of the back pain, along with other aches and discomforts that we had been dealing with on a nightly basis. The tightness and aches that I have been experiencing! I'm been dealing with a lot of tightness, especially on my back and around my hips ( I'm 4 months postpartum), and these have definitely improved since I started sleeping on our Tempur-Pedic mattress. We highly recommend getting one and can definitely see ourselves purchasing some of these mattresses for our little ones in the future! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always had back issues with my old mattress and since buying and using the medium hybrid my back problems are no longer a thing. This is a great entry-level mattress into Tempurpedic. I just wish some of the other high-end mattresses that have the cooling technology were more affordable because I tend to be a hot sleeper.

We have the split king, with the adjustable base. After a night of playing around with all the height adjustments, I finely got a full eight hours of sleep, in the past 35 years! Would recommend this bed to anybody!!!! Great job Tempur-Pedic, Great job!!!!

This mattress is a bit firm. I had to put a topper on it. I'm still tryna to figure out how I feel about it. It's comfy but sometimes I still wake up with backaches. I can say I have been getting longer nights of sleep. I have notice the difference in not waking up with a backache every morning. Definitely some positive changes. Undecided on how I feel overall.

Our pain has significantly decreased since we switched to a Tempurpedic mattress!! It really conforms to your weight and body shape. The medium is just as stated- not too firm but not too soft. We love our Tempurpedic!
