This mattress has been a game-changer. I'm a back and side sleeper, and I share the bed with my husband and our two large dogs- so motion isolation is a must. With the Beautyrest, I don't feel a thing when anyone shifts during the night. The support is spot on: no more waking up with aches, stiffness, or sore hips. It contours just enough to relieve pressure points without sinking in too far. The cooling technology is another standout. My husband would happily sleep on a piece of plywood for the support and I prefer something softer since I am a side sleeper. This mattress somehow has won us both over, it is soft enough to be comfortable to me and also has great support that makes my husband happy. I absolutely recommend. The only thing to be mindful of is that this is a thicker mattress so standard sheets will fit, but just barely, so the fitted sheet does come off at the corner every so often for us. Still totally worth it and I will be getting new sheets to fit it better.

I have scoliosis, and my husband has shoulder issues from a motorcycle accident as a kid, so it's important we have a supportive mattress. But let me tell you, I had no idea a mattress could be THIS supportive. I don't know if it's the Surface Touch Gel Memory Foam, the Self Response Latex, or the 2K Nano Coils, but when you lay down you can immediately feel this mattress conform to envelop every part of your body like a cloud. There are no uncomfortable pressure points, I don't wake up with numb spots anymore, and so sleep so soundly and wake up without pain! One of my other favorite aspects is the motion separation! Hubby is a flopper, and it use to wake me up constantly, but now he can flip flop to his heart (or shoulders) content, and I barely even feel it! I also appreciate the attention that was taken to control temperature with the Sleep Climate Technology and Micro Diamond memory foam! As a gal who is right about the age where hot flashes may soon become a concern, this is a super important feature to me! It's a little taller than I was expecting, and since our bed is already kind of high, I will probably grab a low profile foundation at some point to lower it to a perfect height. But it's still manageable as is, and my sheets still fit! I really couldn't be happier with it though! I tend to sleep on my sides, or back, and it's perfect for either position! I always feel perfectly supported, and even after a couple of weeks of sleeping on it, I still drift off to sleep each night thinking about how amazing it feels!

After trying 3 beds from my local mattress store I finally gave up and went to Macys’s where I found this luxury Beauty Rest firm mattress. I have spinal fusions and chronic back pain and have had this bed 5 days and in absolute sleep heaven. I wake up with no back pain and can sleep comfortably on my back or side. This mattress is worth every penny if you want support and comfort.

We have a Beauty Rest Black C-Class Pillow Top. Worst money we ever spent, and it was not cheap. (4,699). It is now nearly three years old, and the Pillow Top stays depressed, except for the middle, which no one sleeps on. We are not ‘large’ people, so the weight is not a factor. Sadly, we are stuck with it as it will be a few years until we can replace it with something else. Honestly, I would give zero stars if it were an option.

The first night my hips hurt (I’m a side sleeper). After a few more nights it became more and more comfortable. We bought a box spring to set the mattress on. The result was a bed so high I need a step to climb onto the bed. We will take the box spring off; after my husband’s back recovers from putting the mattress on the bed. I think the mattress must weigh at least 400lbs! Next time we will pay the extra money and let some young healthy men do the heavy lifting.
