We have never used any other fertilizer ok maybe once but never again. When you find a brand that works you stay with it. Scotts is the brand for us! We have used the lawn step application for a couple of years now and have had a nice looking yard. Get compliments on how green and weed free it looks.. Every year we see less crabgrass and weeds. Will continue to use

This was my first time using Scotts, I have had lawn services come out for years and was never happy and had the worst yard in the subdivision. Let me say "Thank you scotts".....my neighbors are wondering what i am doing. This product is amazing, cant wait to apply the next product. Keep up the good work and the price of the product was nothing compared to what I have spent on lawn service companies......and my yard as never looked like this. My yard is beautiful!!! Will show pictures after next product use, I believe its dandelion time! Quick green up and thicker grass already...wow!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We live in a subdivision with 2 acres of land. We had a lot of crab grass. This product not only killed the crabgrass, it also fertilized all of the grass with one application. Thank you VERY much for an outstanding item!

This is my second year on a subscription. I have more crabgrass now then before I started using Scotts. Seems like a crabgrass feeder rather than preventer. Luckily, I found a product called Spectracide which does what Scotts does not do. Will be canceling my subscription after this season.

I use this every year as a part of the Annual Lawn Care program. My wife thinks I'm crazy for having four types of fertilizer in the garage, but my lawn is the greenest on the block, and most of my neighbors have professional gardners. Even if you get the product on too late for the Halts to work effectively, it still gives a big nitrogen boost to your lawn.

Works if follow the directions and apply before crabgrass seeds germinate. From what I have read the seeds germinate when the soil at 2-3 inches deep reach 55-60 degrees. So need be sure you put it down early enough and do not dethatch or aerate the lawn after application have to wait till fall or do it before.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I applied product just as directed to,within a week after application I could see results happening.Throughout spring my yard was very green and seemed to be thicker than last year.I used scotts for all my annual the recommended treatments this year and was very satisfied,will do the same this year.

I applied this product early March but my lawn was totally taken over by crabgrass in Aug. I was following the plan laid out below by Scotts. http://www.scotts.com/smg/goART3/Howto/when-to-feed-lawn/33500008 No where does it say that we need another application of crabgrass preventer after 3-4 months. Only after reading the negative reviews here I came to understand that another application is needed. Can you please clarify how to fit in another application of this product in the plan above?
