After trying several commercial fertilizing companies I purchased and applied six bags of Scotts Turf Builder. Within three weeks I had a healthy, green lawn and I have continued to use ONLY Scotts Turf Builder and Scotts Winterizer fertilizer ever since. Be smart and use Scotts!!

I treated my lawn in mid march and I now have the greenest lawn on the block. The grass came up so thick and healthy, my highest setting on the mower was too short to cut it. I couldn't be more pleased with the results and I have alredy gotten several compliments on my lawn.

This year I noticed the Turf Builder with Crabgrass Preventer. I was able to reduce my lawn care to 1 bag vs. 4 and it worked equally well. I will continue to use Scotts Turf Builder with Crabgrass Preventer in the future. Yes...and have a beautiful lawn year after year.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i have used scotts halts grass fertilizer for crabgrass for many years i use this because it gives me the best start for my lawn after a hard winter i apply it in april and within 2 weeks my grass is turning green and has a healthy look already. ive tried other brand fertilizer and nothing holds a candle to scotts i will always use scotts

My lawn went downhill fast and in 2 years was horrible. I returned to Scotts last summer and am pleased to reoprt it has returned to the condition I have come to expect.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Over the past thirty years I have tried different products to prevent weeds and other unwanted grasses from being part of my lawn. Turf Builder with crabgrass preventer has given me excellent results (no crabgrass) with an occasional sprinkle of unwanted crabgrass because the way in which I have to apply it at the property line to prevent any preventer of any type getting onto my neighbors so called lawn.

I use Scotts Crabgrass preventer/weed killer each year in early March and again around early June. Seems it take two applications to control my lawn's problem but it does work. Would recommend to anyone with the same problem that I have. Product is a little more expensive then private label products but for the most part is worth it. Thanks!

I apply the product heavier than the recommended application rates, and I still have A LOT of crabgrass in the treated areas. Your product might actually work if you put more active ingredients in the bag to kill crabgrass seeds instead of usless fillers.
