[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Living in a woods in central Wisconsin it is hard to get any grass to grow. Lots of shade,rocks,and a high ph . Just to name a few of he problems. This product seems to be the best I have found so far . And really gets the job done.

This is really about all your fertilizers. For a few years I would try other brands occasionally, but nothing works like your products. It all began when a friend had some Scotts winter fertilizer left over from using my spreader. I used it up on my lawn and the next Spring you could tell where I used the Scotts and where I used the other. I still used others...I guess I learn slow. NOW it is only Scotts brand fertilizer that goes on my lawn.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very happy with the results I have seen in my lawn from using this product year after year. Because of it and other Scott's products; I have been able to turn a neighbor's weed infested yard into a nearly perfect green carpet.

I have used Scotts products for years and always had excellent results until now. This crabgrass preventer killed everything in my lawn. Grass, crabgrass, everything. My lawn is always the greenest, most beautiful in the neighborhood. Now it looks like a dried-up hay field.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Couldn't figure out why I was getting crab grass after putting this down. FINALLY, Ants were bringing up soil and deleting the crab grass cover. You have to put an insect killer down at the same time to keep the integrity of the crab grass killer intact.

I've been a Scotts lawn product user for over 12 years now and I have had a really hard time making this Halts work on my new yard. I moved in to my house 3 years ago and started using Scotts products right away - as in, the first weekend after I moved in! There is one portion of my yard that I can't seem to get this crab grass out of. This Halts product certainly greens things up quickly in the spring, but come late summer, the crab grass continues to come back. I'm pretty diligent with my feeding schedule (I use Google calendar to track my feedings) and only really adjust depending on weather so I generally follow the Scotts feeding schedule. I'll try again next year, but I'm not confident that its going to work. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. As for the rest of the yard, we're doing great! Now, if Scotts would come up with some residential product that'll take care of what I think is Nimblewill. It is growing more and more and taking over more and more of my good looking grass!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you need a product to control crabgrass, this is the product for you. The only caveat is that you must apply before any crabgrass emerges. Do that and you will have a crabgrass free lawn all summer.

Before that our lawn was always overun with crabgrass but since using this product, our lawn has no crabgrass and the grass is healthy and amazing to look out. I thoroughly recommend this product. It has worked for our lawn and I'm sure it will work for yours.
