This is attributed to both the blower tube and vacuum tube is attached as one piece versus the need to switch out tubes. The weight of the bag with debris may also contribute to the extra weight. If it is being used as a blower, the bag does not need to be attached. This may lighten the tool and make it more manageable. The blower has a variable speed control that allows you to adjust the speed from 80-210mph. Rotate the orange knob upward to decrease speed and downward to increase speed. Hello Valued Customer. Thank you for your question. No, when you switch the Trivac to the vacuum feature, it will also mulch down your leaves at the same time. We do not make a Trivac or blower vacuum that will allow you to do one or the other.
