They may say it's the same blend of coffee as the Smooth—but it definitely is not!! Why aren't they telling us the truth!?!? The smooth was my all-time favorite...it is gone despite what they are saying. I now will look for a different coffee....what a shame! Just please tell us the truth — And bring back the SMOOTH!!!

Yes, it’s ok. But not as good as the Smooth. Please, don’t try to tell me it’s a “rebranding”. It’s not! Smooth was exactly that! A nice Smooth light coffee. The Classic is just a typical everyday medium roast. “Rebranding” is not what was done! Anyone who can read can see that the roast types are specified as Smooth roast and Medium roast. Two completely different roast types. And anyone who has taste buds can taste the difference. PLEASE bring back Smooth! At least we would have our choice!

As others have stated, the new Classic blend tastes completely different than the original Smooth blend. It smells completely different when brewing as well. Timothy’s Donut Shop blend used to be my favorite, but when that was discontinued, I switched to Krispy Smooth. I’m a Light roast fan and I’ve tried other Light roasts, but none compare. Very disappointed.

I have been buying the Krispy Kreme medium roast for some time now. I am not a dark roast coffee drinker and this medium roast seems to be the perfect medium to light roast for me. It’s got the right flavor and tastes the same with every box. Give it try!

I decided to try the new Classic Blend not knowing Krispey Kreme was going to do away with the Smooth blend. It is not the same and the taste is bland and bitter. Pay attention Keurig and bring back the Smooth blend or this coffee lover wil be leaving.

I've been searching for my favorite brand for years. I finally found it, it's Krisp. I drink cream and surger in my coffee and it's a perfect blend for my taste. Very mellow and not bitter at all. No biting after taste can't say that about any other coffee I've tried.

Everything about this coffee is soothing. The aroma, the taste. There is no bitterness. I’ve side by side tested this with the Smooth light blend, and I’m telling you, it tastes exactly the same! Love this blend, it’s just as perfect as Classic as it was when called Smooth. Offers total contentment in the aroma and satisfaction in flavor to my taste buds.

I have been drinking this for a long time. I always enjoyed the light, smooth taste. It is now strong and bitter. It has nothing to do with the name change-the blend is different. Krispy Creme has changed, and maybe they did not inform Keurig, but needs to be addressed.

I'm so disappointed in the change from Smooth to Classic. Why lie to your customers? It's not the same. I was a huge fan of the Smooth Coffee, I got my family and friends hooked on it. Why couldn't you just introduce the Classic as an addition to the line up, while keeping the Smooth?! Off to find a new Coffee and Company. (smh)

I am a long time Smooth drinker and have recently read about the name and roast level branding change. Have to say that I agree with some of the reviews that it doesn’t taste as “smooth” as it used to (I really enjoyed the light roast as it had less “bite”). When I bought it in the store, there were two flavors - Smooth and Classic. How did they become the same? Just curious, thank you!
