This stuff is GREAT-- it makes it easy to add a delicious chicken flavor to any broth or sauce to help you use up your leftovers or augment a few measly ingredients. I added it to hot water, to make a broth, then made a roux using cream and flour, added garlic, and stirred in the broth to thicken it. I poured that over the Birdseye garlic chicken, pasta, broccoli, corn, and carrots. I also added chopped zucchini of my own. It enhanced the flavor and nutrition to make a hearty meal. It's also great for making shredded rotisserie chicken soup. Use the paste plus water, to taste (more or less water according to salt needs); add any mixed veggies and tiny pasta or beans and salsa, etc. to make a quick dinner. It stays useful for ages, if kept refrigerated.

This stuff is amazing. Add a little to any sauce or soup for huge flavor boost. I use it when I do stir fry it adds flavor to my sauces and with less salt that bullion cubes. The flavor is better and it is easier to mix in. This is a pantry must have for me.

Such a great price. I've paid 3 times as much for the same type and size. Makes awesome soup

The jar no longer has a gluten free icon on the label as it did with the previous packaging. The website indicates that it is gluten free but the label does not. I returned the jar.

I have used this chicken base for years and now I have an issue they do not sell it in the Sam's Club stores why not does anyone know? I don't want to have it shipped I want to be able to pick it up at the store

I do like this base better than the popular powder and the iconic cube. But I do get a slight aftertaste. If its competitor NHR was sitting next to it I would pick the competitor. But this comes through in a pinch.

Great to use as substitute for chicken broth. Lasts a long time.

Good tasting base for variety of dished

This has a wonderful flavor and so easy to use. It last a long time in you fridge!

The meat broth bases at Sam's are better than any boullion. I always have the chicken and beef on hand. Adds flavor to whatever meat or soup I'm making.
