They cancel the surrounding noise, they are very comfortable (I can wear them for hours) and they sound awesome. There is a perfect balance of highs and lows. This is my third pair of QuietComfort headphones. I didn't need a new pair, but they came in Lilac so I had to get them to match my luggage. These are actually better than the pair that I purchased two years ago. I was blown away at the clarity. All my audio equipment is Bose, so I am not unfamiliar with the sound quality, but these are so comfortable and amazing, that my next trip to Europe is going to be a quiet dream.

I got these last month and they're pretty decent. I'm a trucker so I use them a lot and overall great sound quality, decent battery life, and people on the phone say they can hear me pretty well. The only issue is if i have a window open at all there's a lot of weird background sound that doesn't go away when I turn on quiet or commute mode.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased these headphones because I often fly and am tired of all of the distractions, kids screaming etc. I’ve purchased several Bose products over the years and have always been 100% satisfied. The headphones are no exception. They’re light, simple controls and the noise canceling is top notch.

I bought these a little over a month ago & received them in a timely manner with a small delay. Pros: They are SO pretty!! The sound quality is great, noise cancellation feature works pretty well, and the different customizable modes is really cool! Cons: I have a smaller head & these sit pretty low on my ears, they also feel a bit loose because of this. Due to those reasons, I feel like the sound leakage is much worse & you can hear the music, podcast, est. playing outside of the headphones even with the volume lowered. Overall I love them, I just really wish they were a bit tighter & you could adjust them smaller.

I bought this 2 months ago and after testing them out at work, the mic captures all the noise around me. I wish I could get a refund but because I opted for a replacement, the 90 day satisfaction is no longer valid... I would NOT RECOMMEND if you plan on buying these headphones if you use a mic at work all the time. If you are just buying them for sound, then I would get them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Battery lasts a long time and the headphones are comfortable. Occasional issues with the audio cutting out briefly on Bluetooth but that could be outside interference. Otherwise, I love my Bose headphones!!

Bought this a month ago, works fine, sound quality is nice. What is not nice is it's lack of an 'off' feature for its noise cancellation, which I need because both noise cancellation and transparency give me headaches when I'm somewhere quiet. It's also still reminding me to get their app that I already have every time I turn them on, and turns on my spotify for no reason every time it tells me the battery's low. To me they're pretty tied with Apple beats for sound quality, but for reasons stated above fall short overall.

I want to listen to my music on Pandora to start with. My other headset allowed me to. I don’t want to join the apps that Bose is telling me I need to join. I want to turn it on and have it work. So far it’s still in the box because I got so angry with it. HELP PLEASE
