Great little generator !

I purchased the iGen 2800 in late July. We were so impressed by how quiet and how much power it put out. We ran our tv, internet, direct tv, room air conditioner, and two fans. With all that it was only at 25% load. Liked it so well, we bought a second one for our daughter who lives in the city and has all underground utilities. Hope she never needs it, but at least it gives me peace of mind. By draining all fuel and running until it completely empty, it should last for years without any problems. Great product !

Great Generator for the Price

I purchased this generator after numerous searches online and found it to be reasonably priced and well rated by the ones who had bought it. I like the fact that it gives 2200 continuous watts and that it has a digital meter for handy specs. It started after only 2 pulls. This gives me an idea as to how reliable it will be. I didn't have a chance to connect anything to it yet but am looking forward to try it when we will have a power outage. My only complaint is that I had much difficulty to open the side panel to put the oil in.

Powerful, Quiet, Light

This generator packs a punch for the size! It has worked beautifully for us and runs so quietly our nextdoor neighbors barely hear it. The digital screen provides amount of gas left as well as the wattage energy output. I highly recommend this generator..

The Little Generator That was just right

So I bought this as a back up power supply when we loose power at the house after a yearly wind storm or some drives into a near by power pole that I swear happens 3 times a year. Generac makes the exact same generator. So I found that other smaller generators don’t make quite enough power for my needs and I didn’t want one of the bigger ones that are usually around 100lbs. This was the size that was just right and only Westinghouse and generac make it. Light enough for me to still carry around. Just changed to oil at 10 hours and didn’t find metal shavings like you usually do! Carburetor bowl has a screw with a drain hose. Easy to drain after each use. The built in gauge is awesome. I don’t think generac has the gauge on there’s. Overall well designed thoughtful product.

Great little generator

I bought this generator to add power when trailer camping with no hookups. This little baby is powerful enough to power full AC and charge my computer at the same time. Easy to setup and get running. Excited to take this on the road and try it out longer term.

Happy Customer

Recently purchased this generator, filled the oil and fueled it up and started on the 2nd pull. Runs great and I would highly recommend this generator. I did a lot of research and this IGEN 2500 ended up at the top of my list. I think it's a real good value and looks to be a well made generator. The features were another reason I chose the IGEN 2500.

Powers as advertised and quiet

I bought two of these during the Florida hurricane season tax-free weekend (May 2021), and I just got around to unpacking them today. They were easy to set up (just add the oil and gas), and the meters accurately reported the power being drawn on the machines (based on the wattage info in a hair dryer manual) . I also purchased a parallel cord, but I've not tested that yet. This review is for the "first" unit I unpacked. All in all, I'm happy with the purchase, except that the muffler cover is loose. As I tried to tighten it up, I realized that the plastic panel above the muffler cover is bent, so a tab that holds the cover firmly in place cannot "click into place." Also, one of the screws that holds the muffler cover will not tighten, no matter what I do. It doesn't affect the operation of the unit right now, but I'm a little perturbed to have this happen with a brand new unit. Also, it makes me wonder how well the unit will hold up over time. Because of that, I removed one star from my review. This review was given in exchange for a free generator cover, but the review contains my honest, independent opinion.

Bad first impression

I bought this item because of the numerous high reviews and the price. The engine access screws were not easy to come out and I chewed up the Phillips heads a bit. No big deal because I can replace those. I filled it with oil and new gas and proceeded with the start up sequence. After a dozen pulls it wouldn’t start. I then noticed a large growing pool of gas forming under the generator. I attempted to tighten the fuel drain screw and it wouldn’t turn. I was so mad I left the generator and didn’t look at it again for a week. When I finally got over it and resolved to figure it out I used a drill driver to break the fuel drain screw loose and then tightened it. I filled it with gas again and made several pulls but still wouldn’t start. I then made continuous pulls and didn’t allow the flywheel to stop and the generator finally started running. It was rough for the first 10 minutes but finally smoothed out. I hope it continues to work in the future when I need it.

As advertised, quiet and started easily.

I bought this generator inverter to use with my small travel trailer (Casita) and provide emergency power at home. Instructions were clear and easy to follow. Filled it up with oil provided and gas. Started up first pull. Surprisingly quiet. Can’t wait to use it when camping this spring.

Great Little Travel Generator

Bought this little generator for traveling in our travel trailer. There is nothing little about it. It's quiet, runs great and have to say, it's a great little machine to have around because it's easy to start, runs quieter than most generators and seems to run for a long time without wasting a ton of fuel.
