I BOUGHT THIS UNIT ABOUT 2 MONTHS AGO AND IT HAS BEEN A JOY TO WORK WITH. IT STARTS UP IMMEDIATELY EVERY TIME. IT MEETS ALL MY EXPECTIONS AND AM VERY PLEASED. I CHECKED MANY OTHER BRANDS AND CHOSE WESTINGHOUSE WITH THEIR NICE WARRANTY. I WOULD RECOMMEND THE iGen2500 inverter.

Received this generator today and couldn't wait to check it out. After reading instruction manual of course, I filled with oil and gas and she purred to life on second pull. I was ecstatic on how quiet it was started plugging several items around the garage for ops check. Cant wait for a season full of camping and even use around property.

I was looking for something versatile that would be easy to take camping but could also power some larger household appliances in an emergency. This does both. It is super quiet for a generator and runs great. I like the eco mode for lower loads since it allows the generator to be quieter. Ran smoothly out of the box and starts up first pull since then. No issues to date and I have to echo previous positive reviews.

I bought this last month and was waiting for the first oil change before I left a review. So here it is...WORTH EVERY PENNY SAVED! My uncle has the Honda 2200 and he let me borrow it to camp and it would last about 7.5 hours with my setup and with it being completely filled to the top. I did my research and bought the Westinghouse iGen2500 for the extra wattage and front display(of course). With my Westinghouse iGen2500 and the same exact load, it will run for over 9 hours! I cannot sleep that long so if I fill it up before I go to sleep, there is absolutely no worry about running out of gas. I will be buying another one to run parallel on my entire house during hurricane outages.

It runs well when it’s working. I’ve had it for almost a year now and with proper maintenance it’s a good machine. I use it to run my 13,000 btu mini-split AC and it run for 10 hours on 1 gallon of gasoline. It’s really quiet too. The only problem I encountered is the carburetor is failing even after taking it apart and cleaning , it does run right but it’s hunting all the time. Good thing it’s still under warranty

This is my second iGen. I purchased an iGen2200 for my DJ business 3 years ago and had such good luck with it that I purchased the iGen2500 to parallel with my 2200 to power our travel trailer. I had no problems with the initial startup with my new 2500 and can't wait to start using it on camping trips!

I bought this as a backup power source for road-tripping in our travel trailer. It starts up easy, runs great, and is small and quiet like the comparable Honda generator but at a better price point. I was concerned about reviews complaining of a faulty spark plug, but did not experience that with the product I received.

DO NOT BUY this generator. If it sits more than 72 hours without being ran it will not start. I bought two of these. So far, one has had the carburetor replaced twice, the other three times and tonight, when I need them, neither will start. YES, I used quality premium fuel with the correct amount of recommended fuel stabilizer. No matter what, if the generator sits for more than 72hrs, it will not start.

Delivered today. Came with the oil in the box, nice. Started on the 3rd pull. Ran for about 10 minutes to warm up, hooked to a small draw for another 10 minutes ran steady. Hooked up to my RV trailer and started my fan ran for 30 seconds, then started my 13,500 BTU A/C after about a second delay the compressor kicked on and was pushing out cold air at around 1600 running watts. Very pleased so far with the iGen 2500, really like the led readout and that it doesn’t automatically rotate through the display, but you push a button and can leave it on the display you want to view. So far so good!
