Good when works, disappointing durabilityand cs

Was good for about 18 months, started regularly and all was good. During 1st power outage went to use and carb leaked has badly. WH customer service replied product has only 1 year warranty even though it is fuel system and should be 3 yrs? I had to search and find replacement part and fix myself. I do not recommend unless you have a backup and are good at small engine repairs

Do not buy!!! Display will not work anymore...

Purchased this iGEN2500 for camping needs, worked fine for 57 hours, and now LED data center screen stopped working. Reached out to Westinghouse service care team - almost impossible to get a hold of, and no response so far regarding this issue. Now i'm stuck with this broken $600 generator. Would not recommend this generator to anyone! Save yourself time and money and invest in Honda generator!!!

So far not good.

After looking at reviews online, several had posted about broken or damaged spark plugs. I figured it was just a careless employee that didn't care about quality control and that issue was taken care of. Well, I figured wrong. It is our first generator so we were excited to finally get it delivered. I followed instructions on starting it and nothing. I called customer service and I hanged up after being on hold for 40 minutes. I then checked the spark plug and sure enough it was broken. I e-mailed Westinghouse and still waiting for a response. There are a lot of good reviews on this unit so I am hoping to be able to get it going but, I'll have to wait and see.

Thus Far disappointing

Took out the IGEN and set up fairly easy enough. Excited I put it on choke and pulled and it sputtered and started and sounded wobbly and quit. Multiple pulls after rest periods NADA. Next day pulled and start up sounding normal. Took out a coffee grinder plugged in nothing then I noticed the overload light was on and unplugged grinder. Hit reset light still on. Read the manual again shut off and it won’t start again. Called service number and had a grueling call just to provide all my information and was told they will call back. Here I sit 3 hours later no call back did get an email back saying they are swamped a bad sign. I will finish this story and hoping for a resolution and I update rating then.
