it initially would not start after putting oil and gas in unit. Had to use a small amount of starting fluid but now it starts and runs fine. waiting for break in period before loading it up

I was on the fence between Honda or this IGEN 2500. My sons has a Honda 2200 Inverter. My unit is larger, and just as quiet. It performs just as well, and I paid a lot less than the Honda.

Worked great for the first few months. Wasn't able to get it started recently. Currently in the shop trying to determine what's wrong. Called Westinghouse to file a claim since it was within the first year, still waiting to have it resolved.

The iGen 2500 is exactly what I was looking for in a portable generator. It starts on the first pull and is light weight at 49 lbs. It syncs with my iGen 4500 when extra power is needed.

Bought this a few days ago. Filled with supplied oil. Liked the screw-in funnel. Started up on 4th or 5th pull after filling with gas. Runs quiet. Still breaking it in. So far so good!

I bought this last fall for my rv. I finally got to use it and it worked great. It was my first time using a generator and it was easy to set up and use.

We just bought this after finding ourselves on the SCE power blackout list if it gets too windy. So we need this as a back up. Will let you know how it goes as we use it more

Just had ours delivered and got it filled up and tested out. So far we are very happy with it. Leaving for a week long trip and will put it through it’s paces.

I bought this generator and it arrived quickly and appears to be very well made. I read the instructions thoroughly and added oil, gasoline, and it started on the first pull! I really hope this generator lasts a long time.

Received iGen2500 unit, unpacked, filled the oil, pour some gas and started the engine at the first pull. Do some loads test with portable heater and portable A/C, everything run fine as expected.
