Purchased this generator after comparing it against the top brand. Good value for the purchase price. Only have used the generator twice so far. Ran what I needed to run. Pretty quiet for a generator. Easy to operate. I will wait to see how it works during winter ice fishing!

The digital display really sets this apart from other generators in this size and price range. The display will let you cycle through voltage, output power (in kW), lifetime hours, fuel quantity remaining (in liters), and time remaining on fuel. All the functions seem to work just fine and the power output was accurate. You just can't find this feature set in other generators, especially the lifetime hours which is helpful for me to schedule oil changes and such.

I bought this unit about a month ago. It started up on the first pull and runs great. The noise level is good, The output showing the amount of uel and the run time left is great. The only issue that I had was that the cover was a little difficult to get off to put the oil in,

I bought this to replace a bigger older gen. It is just what I was looking for. Runs quit and weight is 48lbs. Tested out on my camper and will give it a better test when I can run the AC ( AC has a soft start on it) and see how it works then. Others have said they work great. Mr. Hess

Compact, well made unit that came with all the accessories I needed. Included were 10W30 oil for unit, funnel, spark plug wrench, and complete instructions. Nice to have little extras, like a hose on the float bowl to drain gas and keep it off unit. VERY well packed for shipping. Runs very quiet and has ECONOMY setting to minimize gas use while operating. I would recommend this unit.

I just received this yesterday, put the oil in it, filled it up with gasoline, and it started up immediately. I was a little disappointed to see gas leaking out of the bottom of the generator after I shutting it off. Today after work I get home and go out to fire this up again to let it run without a load to help break it in. After about 20 minutes it starts to sputter and then quit running. I moved it from where it was sitting and noticed the grass underneath where it was sitting was soaked with gasoline again and also noticed it pouring out of the bottom of the case again. I took the service cover off to find that the carburetor drain screw was open all the way causing the fuel to drain from the carburetor while it was running and especially after the engine was turned off. I guess this goes to show the efficiency of the engine to be able to keep running while it wasn’t even getting a solid flow of fuel. I haven’t contacted their customer service yet to make them aware of the quality control issue but after reading other reviews I’m sure that process and their resolution will be up to any standards of good customer service. Things happen, mistakes are made and it’s not the end of the world for sure, just a loose screw. I’m glad to have purchased this unit for the price I got it for and can’t wait to get out with the camper and put this to some good camping use.

I was in the market for a generator to power essentials during storm outages. I did a deep dive into ratings/reviews of several generators, and finally decided the iGen 2500 was the best deal for the money. When the iGen 2500 was delivered I eagerly opened the package as if it were Christmas morning. At first glance I was impressed with the build quality. Next, I spent 10 or so minutes reading the enclosed manuals and completing the online product registration. After following the quick start guide, the iGen 2500 started up on the very first pull. I ran some power tools for an hour or so with no issues. However, there is one feature needed that is quite inexpensive. Add an on/off switch to the gas line, so for extended periods of sitting with no usage the carb will not gunk. Overall, I am very pleased with my new toy, but this rating is based off only a few days of usage.

The generator is a good value, starts easily and I like the status display. The only issues are there is no hours of use display and even though it has a variable load throttle it seems a little loud even at no load. I have a sound meter and measured the sound level closer to 57 dBA at no load at the standard 7 meters (23 ft away) instead of the 52 dBA at 25% it is rated. Odd thing is that is doesn't get much loader at full load which measured 61 dBA? One issue could be is that the idle speed is set to high (it also is not running smoothly even with fresh gas) or maybe it will get quieter after break-in? After break-in if this is still happening I may take it to be adjusted.

Just received the product. East to set up and get running. Looks very well engineered and well made. I have just run it for a little while and tried one light load and one medium load seems to work well. It is much quieter than my old generator. I hope it holds up. I plan to use it to keep things frozen and use a microwave during power outages.

I bought this soley for camping. I am extremely impressed with the ease of starting, but mostly with how quiet it is when running, especially in econ mode. It is so much quieter than any RV AC unit. It has an impressive console, fuel gauge, output in KW and Voltage. It even records running hours. That was unexpected. It holds plenty of gas for camping usage and is light enough to pack in and out of the back of my truck. It is a great little power supply.
