I love this generator. It is very quiet and turns on very quickly. I use it for outdoor use around my car and home. It has two plugs and I have connected things with high watts and low watts and the generator worked without any problems. The display shows all the important info you need like gas levels and how long it could still work. Efficiency mode is also great. Its a great generator, I recommend highly.

I bought this as an emergency generator and to allow me to use some of my power tools where I don't have access to power. The starting instructions were easy to follow and the generator started on the first pull. I haven't had a chance to use it much, but did load it up with a couple of items and confirmed it would start my saw and drill. When starting a motor it hesitates for an instance then picks right up and had no trouble starting the devices. The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars is the noise. I don't have a noise meter so I can't measure the dBA, but while not excessively noisy, it was slightly noisier than I expected. While the generator was not advertised to have a fuel shut off, I was hoping the stop position was a fuel shutoff, but based on how fast it stops it either completely cuts of the air supply or the spark. For something that is only used occasionally, having a fuel shutoff that allows you to run the carburetor out of fuel is a nice feature that prevents gas gum up in the fuel system..

This is my first Generator, for emergency use only, just tested today, runs nice, low noise, good load sensitivity that helps to keep the THD low. As your load goes up, speed increases, maintaining the frequency, current and voltage. Not tested electronic equipments yet, however no bulb flickering, ran my drill at all speeds, I feel the digital readings shows accurate load %, I tested only up to 35% load., that's enough for me as a quality test. I trust Westinghouse brand, have several products at home, so trust this will be one such long term investment. Relatively low weight (~40lb) for such output, compact design, easy for storage and retrieval.

I spent months looking for the right generator to add a collection of emergency preps. It was important to get something that would run my computers without blowing them up, be easily moved and easily stored. This by far stood out so I was super happy when it arrived. It worked like a dream and I feel far better prepared knowing I have instant portable power

Recently purchased, ran through the break-in period and tested with camper loads. Performed great and was very quiet. Handled all of the minor loads, but need to restrict usage with heavier load items (i.e. A/c, microwave, etc.), which is to be expected for a unit this size. Much lighter, convenient and quieter than our 4000W unit. Only minor issues: 1) Plastic tabs on bottom of side cover allow it to vibrate, making noise and rubbing against enclosure. I plan to fix this with some narrow strips cut from an adhesive foam sheet (dept. store craft supplies). 2) Spark plug cover does not latch very tightly/positively, and seems to open slightly. Overall very happy so far. Next month will be the true test of why we bought it - boon-docking for a week with no hook-ups.

We recently bought a camper and decided we would like to have portable power, ordered this one after looking at the reviews and comparing other products. it started on the first pull and gave us all the power we needed(even running the microwave!) The only issue we had was,I had over filled the fuel tank, it kept vapor locking until the fuel level receded enough to stop the problem, I had to unscrew the fuel cap to let air in. took a little while as it doesn't use a lot of fuel, it ran over 8 hours on one fill up.

I'm running the generator in its break in period right now, varying my watt loads. Added oil, pulled the starter and it fired right up. Very quiet machine. Runs smooth. Really like the display showing power output, fuel remaining, time remaining and engine hours. I will run the gas out of the tank and the drain the carburetor and then store the machine. This was purchased for home back up power in case of an outage. Planning to run a freezer and fridge (alternating between the two), DSL modem and and couple LED light bulbs. Lots of research before the purchase. Felt this represented the best blend of features. I do wish it had a fuel shut off setting so that the gas would get used up in the carburetor before shut down. Hope to never have to actually use it.

Have operated extensively as emergency b.u. at elevation up to 2k ft. Prefer over the igen2200 which is same size 46 lb weight for its digital data center, 98 cc engine, 18.3 A run 20.8 A motor starting. Economy mode works well idling down as it should and kicking up momentarilly when fridge compressor kicks in. Arrived well packaged and ready to gen in minutes with incl 0.4 qt premeasured oil and fill kit. Starts no effort first pull. Before storing I run it dry on E90 then add a pint of True Fuel and run it dry again. No fumes notice when stored but of course never run inside. May vapor lock if cap is on tight.

I bought it and immediately started using it to power my chainsaw and polesaw. I carry it with my trailer through out my property, starts with the first try. The instructions that came were clear and complete. Added the oil, gas and I was up and running immediately.

My primary purpose in purchasing a generator is to have a relatively quiet power source for my RV's air conditioner system. This generator was recommended by a company that produces a "soft start" product to enable small generators to start the AC compressor. The generator performs as expected. I am delighted to be able to run my AC! It is a bit louder than I anticipated, but nothing I can't live with.
