I bought this generator a month ago to use at my son's upcoming backyard wedding reception. We needed an independent power source to run the portable toilets and provide power for the caterers...this generator was just the ticket...light enough to move around, pretty quiet in eco mode, and has a display to let me know how the gas level is looking. Start up instructions were easy and the generator came with a pre-measured bottle of oil of just the right quantity to fill the reservoir (I'm keeping the bottle for future oil changes). It started for the first time after about 4 pulls and on the first pull when I restarted. Looking forward to having it for the wedding and then for some back-up power around the house (to run the refrigerator, lights, and charge a phone) when we lose power...

I bought this over a year ago. This is my first generator and I wasn't sure what to expect. I have used this more than I thought I would and it has been great. I have use it for camping a lot. It has worked great with my camp trailer. I have also used it a lot for other recreational activities. I highly recommend this generator.

SCROLL DOWN FOR TIP FOR USE WITH GAS FURNACES I bought this as a backup for my house during ice storms, which happen all too often in Oklahoma City. In 2020 I got to test it out while we were without power for 13 days. Not a fun experience, but a great test for the generator! The generator performed flawlessly. It started up easily, ran great and was able to power the gas furnace, refrigerator, television, internet router and a couple of other electronics. In fact, with all of those things running it still had more capacity! :: GAS FURNACE TIP :: Here's the important tweak I had to make. At first, the furnace would not run at all. I opened up the furnace panel and found a blinking LED indicating that there was a grounding problem. I did some research and eventually came across a forum that suggested that little generators like these sometimes need a neutral bonding plug. I watched a YouTube video on how to make a neutral bonding plug with supplies from the hardware store and it was easy to do myself. Once I plugged the neutral bonding plug into the generator, my furnace happily turned on, lit the gas burner and started up the blower, supplying much needed heat to the whole house. Overall, I highly recommend this generator, as long as you go into it knowing you may need the neutral bonding plug.

Great features when comparing the price to others. Other generators are comparable, but lack the convenient LED display for fuel level and loaded watts. Unit is very quiet. Only negative I have is that the spark plug is a bit tricky to screw in (due to a slight insertion angle) and verify it is completely flush. Only problem I've had and I've loaded the unit to 2000 watts (2kw) and it ran fine. My max load will be 1800 watts, so I considered this enough of a test.

I have a small 30A travel trailer that can run just fine on 20A, as long as you don't turn it all on at once. This generator provides up to 18.3A (according to documentation) and worked perfectly to run 5000 BTU air conditioner and 2.7'cu fridge and lights, with only 25% load showing on the display. Unsure of exact dB level (claim is 53dB with no load) but very quiet. Simple operation and excellent documentation included (too rare these days).

I have only used this for the initial set-up. I am pleased with how quiet this generator is. I like the display that tells you how much power you are using and/or is still available and how much run time is left for how much fuel is in the tank. Amazing start up! On the very first pull, a gentle one at that! I am looking forward to our next power outage to use this (ha)!

I currently have a generator that has 1700 running watts for ice fishing. I hangs in there but I needed something with a little more power and this fit the bill without adding any more bulk or weight from my current generator. The display on this is a great feature and added benefit you don’t get with other generators. Definitely recommend this product.

I purchased two i2500 invertor generators with the anticipation of needing two to power our RV 15 K BTU air conditioner. Received both generators in perfect condition. Put motor oil in that was provided in the box using the provided screw on funnel. NO drips or mess. Perfect setup. Turn switch to choke, turned off econ mode... One pull and started.. After a short burn in run. Off to test. I shut down the RV power. Turned off AC. Started up i2500 generator. Let it get up to speed with Econ mode on. Plugged in the RV and tested without AC on, tested Microwave, and coffee maker at the same time. Generator ran up a little on RPM's but settled back down while running both microwave and coffee maker. I them turned off Econ mode and tried the 15 K BTU AC. Not expecting anything. One i2500 unit ran the 15k BTU AC without a problem. I let it cycle many times. Never had a problem running on just the one i2500. I oiled up the 2nd i2500 and again one pull start. I am keeping both i2500 with a parallel cable for the larger load of AC, Microwave and coffee maker. The 3 essential life items. Highly recommend the Westinghouse i2500 generator!

Hey, Westernhouse nailed this one! I can't tell you how much I enjoy the Igen2600. I purchased the Igen2600 for my work trailer. The first thing I noticed was how comfortable the noise level was, and then fuel efficiency is amazing.I can run my Igen2600 all day on one gallon of gas with the power to run any hand tools that I might be using.. And it starts every time on the first pull. I totally recommend this unit.

The first one that showed up didn't work but they sent another one right out and it started right up. I feel confident we'll be more comfortable with any other California blackouts that may come our way. We got a great deal on a pay over time plan to make it affordable for us. It's a good brand. I hope we don't have any issues with it.
