Great value

I just replaced my iGen2200 that I have been using for two years to power my Travel Trailer to include running my AC. Just wanted a little more output so I could run a few other things while using AC. Works great and is easy to start. Much better deal than a Honda i2000 at twice the price. Just as quiet. Highly recommend.

The Little Generator That was just right

So I bought this as a back up power supply when we loose power at the house after a yearly wind storm or some drives into a near by power pole that I swear happens 3 times a year. Generac makes the exact same generator. So I found that other smaller generators don’t make quite enough power for my needs and I didn’t want one of the bigger ones that are usually around 100lbs. This was the size that was just right and only Westinghouse and generac make it. Light enough for me to still carry around. Just changed to oil at 10 hours and didn’t find metal shavings like you usually do! Carburetor bowl has a screw with a drain hose. Easy to drain after each use. The built in gauge is awesome. I don’t think generac has the gauge on there’s. Overall well designed thoughtful product.

Great little generator

I bought this generator to add power when trailer camping with no hookups. This little baby is powerful enough to power full AC and charge my computer at the same time. Easy to setup and get running. Excited to take this on the road and try it out longer term.

Excellent Inverter Generator With Many Features

Decided to buy the Westinghouse iGen2500 after months of research. The peak 2500 watts and running 2200 watts exceed most generators of this size. All the panel features make it easy to operate and the digital readout for fuel level, power output, voltage and time remaining monitors everything you need.

Great Packaging and Features!

We are stoked to see what this generator can do. At this price point and size, we were excited to make this purchase. We have not ran it yet, but everything down to the security and organization of the packaging makes us think we will have no issues. (If so, Westinghouse offers a great warranty, just be sure to register your device upon purchase)

Quiet and Feature Packed Generator

This generator has all the features I was looking for. Lightweight, quiet, 10 hour run time, clean power for running valuable electronics, USB connections, and easy to start. The display is easy to read and lets you know how many hours it will run on the remaining gas. I've used it several times already for outdoor chores and find it very impressive for a compact portable generator.

So Far Ok

I wanted a suitcase style generator to power my 15K Dometic AC in our travel trailer. I also purchased a Micro Air 364 to cut down on start up loads and it powers the AC! But...there seems to be an issue during the heat of the day. Westinghouse is working with me under warranty, I'll update with any more info. The LCD display is nice, but if you fill up the fuel to FULL the fuel gauge doesn't work until you run it for a while. One one tank of fuel it ran for five hours powering my AC.

Easy To Use

This generator is easy to set up and get started. We lost power yesterday and after several hours decided we better unbox the generator. Set up was quick and easy, as was starting it. This generator isn't intimidating to me as most full size generators are. I am comfortable using it without help from my husband.

Super happy with my purchase!

Was packaged very well, filled the oil with the included oil and screw-in funnel which made is mess free. Followed the direction for run operation. Fired up second pull. Runs very smooth and very quite in Eco mode. Eco mode worked great, used a 3 power level small heater to test accuracy - as I switch to each increasing heat setting it bumped up the throttle accordingly. The control panel info and output ports options are fantastic.

Very well built and not too big or expensive

I totally over-researched portable inverter generators before finally settling on the iGen2500. I wanted something to have on hand for our next power outage and a portable inverter unit fit the bill nicely. Setup was a breeze with everything included in the box except for a standard Philips screw driver. The setup sheet and manual are clear and easy to understand. The unit is small and light enough to easily store on a shelf in the garage. I don't have much to compare it to, but the iGen2500 is pretty quiet. The design is clever with an easily-removable side panel to access the oil fill/drain and fuel bowls. As I don't anticipate using the iGen a whole lot, I really like that the fuel system includes a bowl drain and hose to quickly and easily prepare the unit for a return to storage. One of the features that helped me settle on the iGen2500 was the ability to run in parallel mode with another iGen if I ever need it. Westinghouse's parallel cord setup seems simpler and easier to use than others and provides the standard home 120v style outlets a homeowner would need. While not looking forward to it, I finally feel confident and ready for the next time we lose power.
