I live in an area where electric may be shut off during high winds, wildfires and many unknowns. This is usually at times where A/C’s are running day/night. Possibly for days. I was in need of something I can carry, quiet and could handle the load I needed. Fit all my checkboxes. I also need it for camping - have a small travel trailer. Thanks

I bought two of these to run in parallel to power RV A/C and microwave. I've run them through their 5 hour break-in, and then hooked them up to the RV. Pulled 3400 watts to run A/C & microwave. Everything seems to work as expected. Writing this review to get the free cover. ;)

I wanted a good quality generator that would run the a/c in my camper without paying the H brand prices. Did my homework and found lots of great reviews and comparisons and Westinghouse rose to the top for me. I went with the 2500 to get the little boost in running watts and I think it made the difference in being able to do what I want with it. Pleased to say the least! BTW IT"S QUIET! My lawn mower is louder.

I bought this as a backup for house as well as camping. It started on first pull and continues to start easily. It is louder than I was hoping, too much so for camping near others. "Super quiet" as stated is not as quiet as I expected. However, I would definitely buy again.

Purchased the iGen2500 for the "just in case" day. That day arrived 2 years later. I quickly read the start-up guide, then added the oil and gas. Hesitantly, I pulled on the cord and it started on my 2nd- 3rd pull. I turned it off, put it in my wagon and pulled it through the snow to the powerless house. I carried it up several steps and placed it on the outside porch where it easily started again. Very pleased. I avoid pull-cord tools due to my size and strength...or rather lack of size and strength! I am a 5'1'', 100 pound, senior citizen woman and found the iGen2500 not the scary and complex item I thought I was going to have to handle on an already disastrous day. Thank you.

I purchased this to economically charge my battery banks in the event of a power outage. I have only had to test it so far but it worked like a dream. I ran the generator for approximately 8 hours on eco mode and only used approximately 3/4 of a gallon. It is very quiet for as far as generators go. I did not hear it all when inside and even when outside it was not a bother. I liked it so much I bought one for my mom.

Got instant savings at sc making it worth it. Using for running some appliance and electronics during sporadic power outages And as a tailgate generator to run tv stereo charge electronics and a number of small cooking appliances. Just realize that at the full 2500 and 15 amps you will need some heavy duty ($$$) extension cords especially if you need more than 50 feet. Also suggest buying a quart of full syn oil that will max your operating temp range. Too soon to have anything to say about longevity and reliability

I bought this inverter in February 2021 just before the second snow storm in Texas. I was so happy to have it cause the second wave put me in the dark for five days. This inverter did its job. It runs for 4 hours on 1 gallon of gas. This is a must for all who need to warm up just one room.

this generator is perfect for our needs and performers great when we get it running. we have a property at an elevation of 6000+ feet and this unit is hard to start. I am told you have a high elevation kit. If so, please let me and all with this same problem know how to get this kit.

If you need an easy and quiet generator that doesn't break the bank, look no further. I unboxed this, added oil and gas, and had it started in less than 3 mins. It also shocked the amps out of me how quiet it runs. Definitely recommend buying this over that costly Honda.
