I've only had this for a few days but my racing neighbor has one and it seemed to work awesome. He did have his die after about 500hrs but westinghouse warrantied it and sent him a new upgraded version. I have the upgraded version as well and hope to have a trouble free ownership. Can run the A/C, fridge, and the air compressor at the same time or the heat and coco maker at the same time.

Operating this generator requires choke adjusting. Unfortunately, the choke is behind the side panel which requires removing five bolts. Phillips head bolts that will ware over time. So, poor design in this regards. The choke should be assessable without removing the side panel. Also, the remote on/off FOB is simpley a marketing bell with no whistle. When the generator is remotely shut down. You will still need to go to the generator and manually shut off the battery so you don’t waste battery power. And, you will need to close the gasoline valve so the engine does not flood. Other than those design flaws, the generator works well, as hoped, for the moment. Stay tuned.

I purchased this about a month a go. Started up right away and so far is working very good as a power source for a camper trailer. Very quiet operation and it seems to use very little fuel. The only disappointment is that there was a bonus cover offered upon registration if a review was done. When I registered the bonus cover was no longer available.

After months of research, including a spreadsheet, the Westinghouse igen4500 became my first choice. Obviously, the 4500 watts in an inverter generator is a huge selling point for everyone. It is for me too, but what really separates this unit from the competition is the QUIET 52dB operating volume. I really have issues with loud noises, so this sold me the most. I say the most because there are so many other great things this unit has that make the competition look bad. Remote start, gas gauge, very high end control panel, very efficient operation, telescoping handle, etc... As soon as this generator went on sale I grabbed mine. I’ve only set it up and run it for a few minutes so far, but everything works great and sounds Quiet.

Just purchased and am impressed by how quiet it is and fuel capacity is great for overnight runs. So far I’m very impressed by the remote and electric start. Only down fall which is minute is the oil fill cap is hard to get my big hand in to restart to put back on.

Bought an about a week ago. Worked great right out of the box. Loaded in back if truck took to job and started using it all day. Saws , nail guns and miscellaneous construction tools. First weekend took it camping, plugged in to camper no problems at all. Wish I would have bought one like it years ago.

This is an impressive piece of equipment. It is very well built and insulated. Comes in at lower decibel than competitors. The 30AMP plug and remote start fab was the big draw. Came with all extra pieces. Comes with telescopic handle for easy carrying. Item is heavy, however, lighter than all competitor models. Great unit highly recommend it!

I uncrated the generator, read the instructions, filled it with oil and gas, hit the button and it started right up. I was amazed at the low noise level. I loaded it in the back of my Honda SxS and went to work with saws, fans,etc. I bought this unit after hours of research to run my two AC units on our camper for remote camping. It preformed flawlessly with both units running. I cannot stress how happy I am with the overall design and the quietness. Great machine I would recommend to anyone. Remote start/stop is the only way to go. Keeps you out of the weather.

I bought this inverter/generator to take camping. It is fairly quiet, has a large fuel tank allowing for long run times and will power the air conditioner on the camper. It's a good solid unit. I use it at high altitudes (9000 ft +) so I purchased separately and installed the high altitude jet before adding fuel or oil. Would be nice if jet kits were included with the unit like some competitors do. Anyone using over 2000 feet is recommended to replace if I remember correctly. Jet install could have a little simpler but the directions were clear.

Would not crank at 1st. I checked spark plug & it was fine (must use included spark plug tool) then I opened the dran screw on bottom of carb to let fuel flow. After all the air bubbles came out it crank fine & has done fine since. Runs my camper just fine.
