I bought this for my new camper, for when I go off grid. Something big enough to power the AC when it starts, and also big enough to serve as backup power to run a couple room heaters if the power goes out. Easy to setup, easy to use, so far. Quiet. I like the eco mode for when you don't need the full output. Also, I like that it is RV ready, and I like a no-frills machine (no dual fuel, no electric remove start, so many, many fewer things to break).

This is an impressive piece of equipment. It is very well built and insulated. Comes in at lower decibel than competitors. The 30AMP plug and remote start fab was the big draw. Came with all extra pieces. Comes with telescopic handle for easy carrying. Item is heavy, however, lighter than all competitor models. Great unit highly recommend it!

I’ve only used this iGen4500 once and it ran my AC with no problems. It only ramped up during start-up and then quieted back down. This was at 4500’. We’ll see how it does at 9000’ in a couple of weeks. I’d give it 5 stars if not for the pathetic way you have to drain the oil.

I purchased this generator based on the features I was looking for at a price I could afford. When it arrived, I unboxed it quickly and was surprised to how light it was for the size (about 95lbs without fuel). Initial startup was a snap, all that was needed was to connect the battery, add the oil, and feed it some gas. It took two attempts for it to start up initially with the push button start but that could be because it was completely drained of fuel. What I like best is the push button and remote start and the fact I can run my trailers A/C and other things without having to worry about it bogging down.

I spent a significant amount of time researching inverter generators before purchasing this model. After following the initial start-up instructions, the generator started with no problem and seems to operate flawlessly. Looking forward to our Memorial Day weekend campout and putting some hours on this machine! Hope to have the same review 5 years from now.

We have been looking at this item for our travel trailer for quite some time now and I have to say we're excited about taking it out for a run. It came well packaged with no damages. So far, it has some really great features and has everything that we need to run our travel trailer.

Haven't use it for camping yet.I only run it for few hours to test it. Was able to deliver the power I need,charged the batteries without problem.Run my AC,TV and other eletronics with no problem( drawing about 2200watts).Easy to start with the push button or with the remote control.It's difinitely heavy, needs two person when lifting,the good thing it has wheels and handle that can extend to pull the generator easily( i would say on even and pave surface, a little bit hard on grass or unpave area).The noise level I'd say moderate,you can hear each other in a normal converstion even standing 3 feet from the generator.So, overall, excellent quality, excellent build and design.Not as expensive compared to other brand with same power rating,or has more power compared to with similar price brand. I highly recommend this for those looking for a generator with up to 3kw needs.

I just received my generator very well packaged. It was easy to remove from box, has all the tools, oil and accessories. The pull out extendible arm and wheels makes it easy to roll and I am a 125lb woman! Plan this weekend will start it all by myself....

There is a spacer between the oil drain plug and the crankcase. The spacer is threaded into the crankcase and allows the draining oil to fall thru a hole in the bottom of the outer housing of the generator. On setting up the new machine, I decided to check the tightness of the drain plug. The plug was tight. The spacer - not so much. Just a bit more than finger tight, very little pressure on a small wrench and it was loose. I fear if I hadn't checked it, I could have lost all engine oil while running. Hopefully the "low oil" sensor would have shut the generator down before any damage was done. Also, reinstalling the drain plug is a royal pain. A red wire to the starter passing over the drain plug is not helpful, a longer bit of wire rerouted would make a big difference. I think we will like this generator and that it will serve us well. Quality assurance (read: tight drain plugs) and a little more thought on engineering would be more satisfying.

The assembly was easy. Instructions were easy to follow (see below comment). After getting everything set up it started right up using the remote start and the push button start. It took numerous (12-15) pulls on the manual start to get it started manually. I hooked the generator up to my RV and it ran the air conditioner without any issues. The generator was using 50% power to run the air conditioner. Hopefully this generator will work for years to come. I wish this was made in the USA since Westinghouse is an American company. Unfortunately it's not. It's made in China. The reason I gave it 4 out of 5 stars is for the following reasons: 1. The battery is not secure and when you lift the generator by the handle the battery falls out of place, opening battery door, which promptly falls off. I used two large zip ties to secure the battery. 2. The control panel on the front of my generator does not match the schematic I was supplied with in the owner's manual and quick set up guide. Looks like the generator was updated but the owner's manual was not.
