We purchased this generator as a dual purpose unit. When we travel with our travel trailer and if we lose power at home. It's perfect for our needs and will run EVERYTHING in the RV and every essential item in the house. Upon arrival, setup could not have been easier. Read the instructions, filled with oil and fuel, connected the battery and started it up. Incredibly easy and very quiet. My wife and I were able to have a normal conversation with the generator running within 20ft. A little disappointed with what appears to be rust around the gas tank opening. Brand new unit and rusty around the fuel? Not comforting. The only thing we could hope for would be a lighter unit. at 98lbs it's heavy, although easily managed with two people lifting it into my truck. It can be done solo, but having a friend is much easier. So far, we love the generator and would definitely buy it again.

We bought the iGen4500 DF to provide backup power for our all electric home when we have power outages, which we seem to be having more often. This generator easily provides power for our 2 refrigerators and a freezer giving us the peace of mind that we won't loose our food. It also provides enough spare power to run many of our other needs to sustain living in our house after a storm or other outages. We got the Dual Fuel model as we also have propane tanks just in case there are gasoline shortages.

I just bought & received this generator and am very satisfied. It is very quiet and starts easily. Seems to be very efficient with fuel usage as well. I would definetly buy another Westinghouse generator in the future & will recommend to friends & family.

This generator is super quiet. I was not expecting a 4500 to be as quiet as my previous 2000 from another manufacturer but it is. Remote start and push button start are great features as well. I am very happy with my purchase and would definitely purchase again!

I have about 10 hours on my igen 4500. It runs great. I use it to power my rv when i'm off the grid camping. It power everything with no problems. The only issue I have had is the battery cover keeps falling off and one time I started it to microwave something only ran it four a few minutes and shut it off. the next time it was a little hard to start needed to use the pull cord to start it other than that it has been flawless. I'm also really happy with how quite it is

I bought this generator to power my 44ft toy hauler. I opted out of the onboard generator because I’ve read these happen to be quieter and more fuel efficient. This generator powers almost everything we need and runs for hours on a single tank. If you have a 50 amp trailer you may not be able to run both a/c but besides that, this generator is perfect.

Didn’t think I’d receive this generator with the known issue of a bad choke system. I figured after reading the reviews of a year ago this would have been remedied. Not so. Had to remove the air filter and stuck my finger in the choke hole to get it to start. After that it fired up on repeated occasions that day. Went out the next morning and got the same result of no starting. Will put a request into Westinghouse like many others and hope to get a fix it response. This has all the features of a good generator and I’m not disappointed about getting it, bugs in everything these days.

I bought this in Sept 2020 and had my 1st TCI failed at 150 run hours, the 2nd TCI failed after 220 hrs, the 3rd TCI failed after 3 hours and the 4th TCI now had 24 hours. I have such confidence in this unit I have purchased 4 additional TCI Modules to keep on hand if it fails again at 2am in 34F weather I won't freeze until sunrise.

Just purchased the generator last week everything was well packed. Can't wait to start it up. Easy set up. Owners manual is clearly written and seems to cover each operational step plus maintenance. Love the electric start. Good looking generator. Ready for hurricane season.

I bought this generator almost a month ago.Everything arrived in good order.I unpacked it and put oil in it and hooked up the battery and started it up.i did the proper break in and it started right up and has run perfectly.Cant wait to take it camping.
