I just got out of the hospital and have not been able to get it ready and start it. Will do so after I recuperate.

I picked up the iGen5000c generator thinking it would sound like a lawnmower wrestling a bear. Instead? Whisper quiet. I’m talking ninja-sneaking-through-your-backyard quiet. The first time I turned it on, I actually thought it wasn’t working until I noticed my fridge humming and my coffee maker kicking in like nothing happened. Pros: • Starts faster than my car on a cold morning. • Powers my fridge, lights, WiFi router, and existential crisis lamp without breaking a sweat. • Quiet enough that my dog didn’t even flinch—he just kept sleeping like it wasn’t there. Cons: • So quiet, I kind of miss the growl. • My neighbor now borrows it so often I’m considering charging him rent. • I caught myself standing next to it just to feel like I was doing something important. Bottom line: If you want reliable backup power without waking the neighborhood—or your pets—this is it. Five stars. Feels like having a secret power plant in your garage.

Just bought the generator. when unboxing at home, the battery cover was not in place and loose in the package. the battery hold down rubber was broken into two peices and the battery was half way out of the generator when i removed the generator from the plastic. currently contacting westinghouse to see about getting a battery hold down. Passed that, this generator is quiet, easy to start both on pull start and electric start. love the remote feature. family memeber has the same generator and it has 500 plus hours on it with no issues.

Bought this in February with plans to use it with our 5th wheel. Size is nice and it powered up our appliciances and batteries. We haven't had a chance to test it with one on the A/Cs yet. If it works well to run at least 1 AC we will buy a 2nd one and the combiner cords.

I resently used my son- in-laws Westinghouse Inverter Generator. I am elderly & was able to operate on my own. So I ordered myself a Westinghouse Inverter Generator. I love the remote, on & off button, pull handle & more. I could have got a bigger one but wanted one not too heavy to pull so I could be pretty independent! Thank you

The machine will not start when it is cold. There is an electric choke that does not work on these models. your odds are 50/50 that you get a model that has this problem. I am going to start the process Monday. I will let you know how the customer service process is in future reviews.

I didn’t know what to expect from this Generator since it was cheaper than most other brands. Right out of the box it was easy to setup and everything was provided, oil/battery/tools and all I had to do was add fuel. the first impressions are it’s super quiet and it runs pretty good quiet even at 50% capacity. I did my first oil change and found very small metal shavings but nothing out of the norm. I use it for my RV to run AC and other appliances and so far it has exceeded my expectations!

Just received this iGen4500c (one of two) and I love this set up. Poured the oil in, added some gas and hooked up the battery. A flip of the switch, a press of the button and it started right up. It ran smooth as silk immediately. Plugged it all kinds of power tools to vary the load and it did not skip a beat. I ran it for a 30 minute period to begin the break in. I was very happy with how quiet this beast is. Speaks softly and puts out a lot of power. Next I will hook this one to it's brother that I also just received (two of two) with the parallel hook up and run my 5th wheel trailer, which is why I bought two. I have no doubt they will handle everything just like they should. Control panel gives a lot of info, some info you don't notice at first. The fuel gauge and power output percentage are nice LED level gauges on both sides of LED readout gauge. The only two complaints I have is that gas consumption on LED gauge is only in liters and not gallons and that there are some sharp edges around the area where the battery goes. Scratched up my arm well but I have "old man skin".

Fantastic generator. All pre-assembled... only had to connect battery and add oil and fuel. Started right up and performed admirably. Many key features but on the top of my list is the unit's "Efficiency Mode Switch". This allows unit to self detect actual load allowing unit to run at a lower RPM... not only saves fuel but really makes it quiet. Speaking of decibels, I replaced a fairly new open frame generator and wow... what a different in dB output.. this iGen4500 is super quiet for a generator.. my neighbors have cancelled their "tar-and-feather" party for me now that I've gone stealth! Additionally, my previous open-frame (non-inverter) generator had a higher THD (Total Harmonic Distortion) threshold (<23) while this unit has a <3 THD threshold.... why is this important? Because higher THD units deliver "non-clean" power which is risky to sensitive electronics. My open-frame generator would not power my UPS.. as UPS sensed unstable power and would not accept power to charge/run unit. However, UPS was quite happy with the iGen4500 power signal. Also worth noting is the stellar documentation.. user manual is well written and easy to follow. 5-stars for this Westinghouse generator.Cl

We bought this to go camping with for our RV. We used it to recharge the battery, run the a/c on high, outdoor fridge and a few misc. plugged in items. It definitely didn't let us down. It did all that and I am pretty sure it can take more! It is very quiet compared to some models and regular generators.
