The iGen4500 is a beast with many excellent features, including electric start and remote start. Plenty of power for my needs at this point, plus the option to run a second iGen4500 in parallel to double the power if needed in the future. Very quiet - great for camping or for extended power outage from a hurricane.

Generator would not start straight out of the box. i got online and read the bulletin stating a wire on the control module may become disconnected during shipping. Followed all of the instructions and the automatic choke is still not working properly. I have to constantly remove the side access panel and manually engage the choke every time. im going to call customer service and let them know the issue.

I purchased this product in anticipation of upcoming power outages. Since I live in the gulf coast area its not if but when and for how long. I have found myself unprepared to many times in the past and would like to have basic power for essentials in the future.

We purchased this generator expecting it to have some similarities to the top of the line Honda but be less expensive and be “Almost as good” as the Honda, but we were shocked to find that it is every bit as well made and even at full power it is extremely quiet !

I bought this generator a couple weeks ago. I was able to set up fairly quickly. It worked great for our RV trailer, lasted a pretty good while with the a/c running, tv, refrigerator running. It only shut off once from the CO2 due to the cover, falling over the back.

I bought this generator after reading many reviews. I did not know what an inverter generator was and did not understand (or believe) how a small generator could produce so much power, be so much smaller in size and weight, be so fuel efficient and be so quite. This generator is also very easy to operate. Simply turn on the power switch, switch on the fuel and hit the start button, its that easy. We just returned from a four day trip to attend a NASCAR race and ran the generator 24 hours a day with the Air Conditioner cranked down low, only shutting it down to add fuel every 12 hours. That is an incredible run time for a generator with a 3.4 gallon fuel tank. I highly recommend this generator. You will be impressed and pleased.

love this generator with all the features. packing was really great Wife loves the remote and after reading other reviews of people having different issues with this generator i have had no problems and it is Feb and haven't been abel to use it with my camper can't wait.

Followed easy instructions to prepare the Gen for it's first run. New battery connection made it even easier, oil, gas, and pushed the magic button and it fired right up. Ran for an hour on both eco and standard with no load for initial break in. Overall very quiet, easy to move around with the wheels and am excited to take it camping!

I'm not trusting Texas power grid this year. Glad I decided to go with this larger size and put on a 30A back feed breaker. Powers entire house with all of the basics running; frig, gas furnace blower, lights, 75" TV/amp, computer, including a 1600W microwave that pushed temporary draw up 3200W. Eco mode drops RPM slightly and extends run time. Installed sliding interlock on electrical panel and moved breakers around a little. Plastic insulated shell keeps it relatively quiet. Runs at lower RPM versus smaller generators at higher more annoying RPM.

Some previous reviews had me cautious, but this IGEN4500 turned out to be superb so far.. This current version is on it's game ! Packaging was near perfect and delivery could not have been better. Arrived in the minimum delivery time. Super easy setup / startup. Generator case access is an easy, no screw affair for battery and oil hatches. Battery hookup and oil fill access will be no problem. ( oil fill / drain is always tricky on this type platform). The unit started immediately and all functions tested out positively. Very impressed! Some previous reviews referenced difficulty with - Battery access, Limited functionality of some controls, Electronic choke systems. I had none of that . This has been the best I-Gen buying experience. It's a rather big unit, and at 100 lbs.. be ready to handle it. That's the point! Compare- you will see this is a good deal.
