I bought this generator because it was quite, had a great price and was powerful enough to run my Air Conditioning in my camper trailer in addition to other electrical loads. It is also easy to move around, thanks to the wheels and extendable handle. It handles like a travel suitcase. This is my second generator purchase. The first is also going strong!

I just purchased this Generator and opened the box. I filled with oil and gas and read all the instructions. The first time starting the generator, I noticed fuel leaking from the bottom. I opened the side panel and noticed fuel leaking from the carburetor fuel bowl. I checked the bolt and it was tight. I took the bold holding the fuel bowl off and saw that the gasket was pinched and not inserted correctly. I flattened out the gasket and put the fuel bowl back on. I started the generator and let it run for 5 minutes with no leaks. I'm glad I was not out in the field using it for the first time when this happened. So far the Generator is quieter than I expected and runs smoothly. I will have a better opinion after running the unit for a while.

Bought this after a recent hurricane extended power outages to be ready for the next one. Quiet, compact, portable, decent output and simple to operate. Only one minor issue on initial set-up.The engine cover had one screw installed so tight from the factory I stripped the head trying to remove it. Had to drill it out to remove and install a new nut insert and bolt.

I have not used it yet but I did start it and made sure it was working properly. It starts really well using the starter and rope pull start. It is extremely quiet compare to my previews generator and very well made. I think this Igen5000c makes the best Generators you can buy.

I own a Honda EU7500 generator which I love but was looking for something smaller, so I thought to give Westinghouse a try. The price point is amazing for the quality and features. I live in California where every household almost requires a generator for weather or power shut-off events. It runs very quiet, similar to my Honda, maybe a little quieter. My only complaint so far is the accessibility and ease of changing the oil, which happens more often than you may think, every 50 hours. I understand in order to keep it compact all the parts are placed accordingly, but if you have big hands this will be a serious chore. When changing the oil and removing the oil plug I have had issues with only loosing and removing the plug itself. there is an 1 1/2 inch stem between the bottom of the engine block and the oil plug and it continuously is what unscrews instead of just the oil plug. I have not contacted Westinghouse to seek a resolve to this issue so Im unsure of the severity or remedy to this situation. Overall it seems to be a solid generator and I would recommend it for its quality and price.

The machine will not start when it is cold. There is an electric choke that does not work on these models. your odds are 50/50 that you get a model that has this problem. I am going to start the process Monday. I will let you know how the customer service process is in future reviews.

Used this to run some audio and lighting for my stage production company. Love having the meter that shows the wattage being pulled! Also, the push start is fantastic. Makes it quick and easy. It started right up out of the box, and still does to this day.

This unit is a warranty replacement for one I bought in July 2021. Out of the box, the autochoke did not work. fortunately I found a video on YT that showed me how to fix it in about 10 minutes. Unit ran well and met my power needs for my 5th wheel trailer. Unfortunately, the inverter failed after about 125 hours. Warranty service is a hassle. WH's tech support line is not supportive. Finally took my unit to an Authorized Service Center and it took them several weeks to get a replacement authorized. After that WH shipped the replacement in a few days. Unfortunately the autochoke doesn't work on the replacement and the YT video doesn't seem to apply. Back to the tech support grind!

This Inverter Gererator took 20 days to be delivered due to its high demand. Well worth the wait. Very quiet and enough power to keep my house functioning in an emergency. The controls are very clear and the well thought out and the remote start is a bonus.

Our family decided to buy the iGen4500 to be done with running two generators to accommodate our RV. We couldn't be happier with all the features that this model offers including remote start. The remote start was a first for us and is now and forevermore a requirement. The fact that there is an "eco" mode is a plus as well. Makes weekends, dry camping, at the lake a lot easier! Five stars!
