Just got to fire it up and run a break in period. Good selection of indicator lights. Wish the quick start guide mentioned the need to make the battery connections. It wasn't rocket-science to figure out the problem, but it was the only step missing. This is a very quiet generator and I have high hopes!

Its a good generator, I've used a couple of times but I was hoping it would be on par with the quietness of another brand that starts with an H. Its honestly not that quiet and its advertised as being so. Also, I'm wondering if it was tested at the factory with ethanol based gas as the product was surging for at least an hour while my good gas likely cleaned out whatever was leftover. That being said, it started up easy and is fairly easy to move around.

this started up the first time has ran great for hours. I love the handle that allows you to tow it to different locations. Makes it super convenient for one person to move, anyone that's got an RV or even running your home utilities - This is a great plus. Very quiet operation - love it.

I picked up the iGen5000c generator thinking it would sound like a lawnmower wrestling a bear. Instead? Whisper quiet. I'm talking ninja-sneaking-through-your-backyard quiet. The first time I turned it on, I actually thought it wasn't working until I noticed my fridge humming and my coffee maker kicking in like nothing happened. Pros: • Starts faster than my car on a cold morning. • Powers my fridge, lights, WiFi router, and existential crisis lamp without breaking a sweat. • Quiet enough that my dog didn't even flinch—he just kept sleeping like it wasn't there. Cons: • So quiet, I kind of miss the growl. • My neighbor now borrows it so often I'm considering charging him rent. • I caught myself standing next to it just to feel like I was doing something important. Bottom line: If you want reliable backup power without waking the neighborhood—or your pets—this is it. Five stars. Feels like having a secret power plant in your garage.

Bought in preparation for hurricane season. Started up easily and is working properly. The unit is very easy to port around...the extendable handle and roll-around wheels are a definite plus. Very quiet compared to standard generators. LED display took a little bit of deciphering.

My unit leaked gasoline on initial fill up and soaked the controls with fuel. It turned out to be a split fuel hose going to the shut off valve. Easily repaired but should have been caught during QC at the factory, if it was test run as stated in the manual. Unit is very quiet and performs very well after repairs were made.

I got this generator for night fishing, but the main reason is because it has a remote start and a pull start. After doing my sit up as required I hit the remote and it started on the first start. The second test was the pull start. Started right up. Another good thing is the convenience of a handle for easy carrying. This product so far is A plus so the test will be our first night fishing trip.

We bought this for a weekend of boon-docking with our 26' camper trailer. The iGen4000c performed flawlessly and powered all of the camper equipment including the air conditioner and microwave at the same time. My wife and I are 2 very Happy Campers!

I bought this generator to accompany us camping in our travel trailer. Setup was a breeze, started on first pull. So far, zero issues. I'm confident that this generator will be exactly what we need when camping w/o electric hookup. Very happy with my purchase!

The quick start guide is in error in the very first step. No need to take the access cover off to add oil. There is a dedicated access cover for oil. An oil fill funnel is provided, which is nice, but the spout is so small, it is a challenge to add oil w/o spilling. Maybe a slightly longer hose on the funnel would be better so it could be bent to more of a vertical pouring position. The leads on the battery are too short for people like me with big hands. It is difficult to get my hands into the small battery compartment. My knuckles are now scraped. I plugged in the AC adapter to charge the battery, but there is no indication (like an LED light) to indicate it is charging. Something as simple as you find on an electric shaver would be an improvement. My next step will be to add fuel and see how it actually works. At this point in the process, as you can read, I am a bit frustrated. Hopefully the rest of the process will be better.
