I bought this generator because it was quite, had a great price and was powerful enough to run my Air Conditioning in my camper trailer in addition to other electrical loads. It is also easy to move around, thanks to the wheels and extendable handle. It handles like a travel suitcase. This is my second generator purchase. The first is also going strong!

Just received my I Gen 4500 and am very impressed so far and have not even started it yet. It is a beautiful Generator and am sure it will perform perfect for my Travel Trailer I am so glad I spent a bit more to get more power and wattage. Is is a bit heavy but moving it is quite easy with the handle and Built in Wheels.

Generator works sonetimes, issues that the automatic choke doesn't work? So I need to use a manual choke other than that it works. But It won't stay running? Purchase 5/2020. iGen4500 Rev01. Read previous reviews. Looked for the obvious problems / conditions others had experience with. Found wire unplugged. Reconnect the wire. Serviced unit IAW the Quick Start Guide. Started the generator . Runs great. Tested all functions. Hooked up and load-tested. Works great. Easy starting / operation. My wife is real comfortable operating this generator

Igen4500df worked well for two years. Remote electric start was one of the key reasons for purchase. It's quite, delivers power well and is decent on run time. Unfortunately the electric start quit working about 18 months into ownership. I always keep it plugged in and checked the battery which has 13.4 volts so that's not the problem. Just submitted a warranty request so hopefully they can resolve the problem.

My wife purchased the Westinghouse iGen4500 for me as a Christmas gift. I found the manual to be very comprehensive regarding setting up, operating, and maintaining the generator. The engineering and design of the generator are impressive. Access to critical maintenance areas is easy and convenient. The push button electric start and remote start features are game changers. This unit is replacing two Yamaha 1600 watt generators we use for RV camping. Although the wet weight of the iGen4500 is over 100lbs, its roller-board style wheel system makes it easy to move the generator on the ground. With moderate effort, my wife and I together can lift the generator in and out of the bed of my truck. I would recommend this generator for those that need up to 3700 running watts in a single generator.

I bought this last December (2021) but had not taken it out of the box until we lost power yesterday (August 2022). The generator was relatively easy to set up, worked well and kept the fridge and a few other things running smoothly. I think it probably could have handled more. It was also relatively quiet. Of course, time will tell, but I'm quite happy with the purchase so far.

I'm impressed with the feature set - electric, remote start, LED information center and the fact that it is very quiet as advertised. I did the 5 hour break-in run and changed the oil 3 times with no issues. Ready for the next hurricane. My primary dissatisfaction is with the documentation. The included manual front panel documentation is totally different from the unit I have. I found a manual by searching with google that is very similar. But I still was not able to find the serial number. The only number I could find was a scan code near the bottom of the cabinet. Still not sure that is the actual serial number.

The generator came in great condition and a day earlier than scheduled. I thought the remote was missing but it was clipped to the pull start cord. I followed the directions for the initial test run and it fired right up. Easy set up. It was actually quieter than I was expecting for being a 4500. I let the generator run for the break in period and it never wavered. This will be a nice upgrade from our “loud” generator when we go camping and for my music entertainment business when in remote locations. Highly recommend.

I have not had the opportunity to start this yet, but i will go over the pros and cons of why I purchased this unit. Pros are the Key fob and push button start, with someone who has several herniated discs in my lower back this was a must, the gas gauge and run time until empty is a feature that will be very useful as the power output in percentages and the charging cord to keep the onboard battery charged. The cons is only one, I wish they had a better way to change the oil without making such a mess..
