I've only used this product a few times in the time that I've owned it and I love it. Its nice and quiet and doesn't seem to use a ton of fuel while in use. To be fair I haven't even come close to making it put out all of the power its capable of but that time will come soon now that its getting warm out and ill be using it to run my A/C in my RV. The only problems (1st World) I can think of as of right now is that the remote start is very laggy and sometimes doesn't work at all. Another thing that concerns me is not knowing if the generator also charges the on-board battery while its running. I couldn't locate this information in the owners manual. So that for me brought it down from a 5 star to 4.

I just purchased the I gen-4500 after extensive searching for a generator for my older trailer. I had a generator that was a gift from my son. Even with 3300 starting watts, it would not run the AC by itself at all, and struggled with just the microwave if it was powering the fridge. And the noise of the motor straining was loud even being enclosed! Enough about the old!!!!!!! The I gen-4500 is exactly what I needed!!! Runs my AC, the fridge, and the microwave, all at the same time, with low low engine speed and sound. I went for power, and sound but it has so many extra features, a 30 amp plug, remote starting, slide out handle tucked away on the bottom, well balanced and smaller size, makes it easier to lift. A little heavier, but with good placement of handles, I feel very confident lifting in restricted areas. Easy initial instructions and setup, 2 pull start up and with no choke, very nice and quiet. I definitely recommend to give this baby a good look. Can't have enough power and with this size, you can't go wrong.

I bought this for dry camping for a 2018 Keystone Cougar 25RESWE. Took less than a half hour to unpack and have running. Added oil and gas and came with enough battery charge to start with push button on front of unit. Later started using remote so all worked well. All outputs and gauges easy to read. Noise level is minimal and easy to have normal conversations close to unit. Ran a/c unit in RV along with 50 inch LED tv and satellite. It weighs all of 100 lbs so locate where you want it to be because you won't be lifting it in and out of your truck. Great job Westinghouse!

I got this home and hooked up the battery (easier than the instructions) put the oil in, added gas and hit the start button. Voila! Started right up. It is charging my trailer's batteries. Haven't taken it on the road yet but so far, so good. Only complaint is that the access to the oil cap is a bit small but otherwise I am happy.

The directions on how to get this running were very easy to follow EXCEPT the directions regarding putting in the oil. The oil supplied is exactly the correct amount, yet the directions warn you about over-filling the oil tank. There's also a nifty oil filler spout not mentioned in the directions, which made filling easy once I realized that to use it you need to tilt the inverter at a 45 degree angle with the spout now standing straight up to get the oil to flow down. After that, the inverter generator was as easy as fill-switch on the fuel-switch on the unit-press the start button. The starting process is awesome, and doesn't require you to hold the switch at all. Likewise, the shut down procedure is as simple as pressing the on/off button again. There's even a wireless fob to control it. For usability, this cannot be matched!

I have only gotten as far as unboxing, filling with oil, and connecting the battery. I like the features it has such as the remote start, storage compartment, tote and carrying handles. I especially like the light weight for the amount of wattage it produces. Makes it easy to load and unload on the back of my pickup.

Followed easy instructions to prepare the Gen for it's first run. New battery connection made it even easier, oil, gas, and pushed the magic button and it fired right up. Ran for an hour on both eco and standard with no load for initial break in. Overall very quiet, easy to move around with the wheels and am excited to take it camping!

Bought this 4 months ago, and the ONLY problem I had with it was finding the serial number, which turned out to be just below the exhaust port. (Due to my own laziness I didn't get around to calling Westinghouse for help for several weeks, and then due to health and personal maneuverability reasons I had to wait till my son could help me. That was another few weeks ago, and only now am I finally getting around to registering and writing this review. NONE OF THAT is the fault of Westinghouse!) Following the simple instructions, my son helped me un-box the unit, fill the oil, add a small amount of gas and get it started. It took several tries at first, but eventually fired up and ran fine. I shut it off, waited a few minutes, and then it started again on the first try. I repeated this several times. So far I'm very confident in this generator. It runs quiet and that was important to me.

Bought the igen 4500 for my RV and couldn't be happier. It's extremely quiet and powerful and will easily power my 15000btu a/c and microwave at the same time. It comes with tools, oil and funnel to get you started, unlike a Honda that comes with nothing. It's also way less money and has a very high rating on most websites. If your like me and don't want to pay exorbitant prices for a name, try this Westinghouse. Pretty sure you'll love it.

Bought the gen off the internet site with open bis gens gen seams fine started on first pull. However the electric start and the flob do nothing, can see by the light in the power switch that it's got a problem so am now looking for a service center in the middle of north dakota
