I just set up the generator and it started and ran perfectly so far. Lots of nice features, such as remote start, battery charger while running, etc. The casing doesn't seem too durable, but for the price I can understand that. My thinking is that I can buy three of these and not spend as much as I would on one Honda, even though I am a big fan of Honda products.

I researched generators after going through a winter storm and losing power for 13 days. The iGen4500 had great reviews and is the perfect size for running refrigerator, freezer, propane heater, coffee pot, TV and a few lights next time we have a power outage. The generator started right up after I added oil and gas. Runs very quiet.

This generator seemed to be the best "bang for the buck" for a big inverter unit. Once full of and fueled up, it fired right up and ran smooth and quiet. We connected it to our RV, turned on the 15000btu AC, and the generator barely grunted as the AC kicked on. I think we're gonna LOVE this generator!

I got the generator for camping so being quiet was important, got the unit ready and it started with one pull. I pull started to see how easy it would start. Just ran it for about an hour today and plugged in a small air compressor and it did not phase it at all. Great product so far.

After searching for a decently priced generator, I'd decided on the IGen 4500. It was delivered a day earlier than originally said. After unboxing it, I followed start up procedure. Oil, fuel and battery checked and tries to start it with no response. It would crank over but not start. Checked fuel to the carb and it was there. Figured out where the choke was and figured out that it wasn't workin. Hand choked it and fired right up. Done a little research and found that the automatic choke wire was a problem area with these generators. To side panel off and sure enough the automatic choke wire wasn't plugged up. Plugged it in, reassembled the side panel, hit the start switch and Baam I have an awesome generator.

Received this as a gift. Put in the oil and gas and it started right up. This is replacing a Ryobi 2200 that I bought for my travel trailer. The generator is well built and the owner's manual is well-written, which is not always the case with power products. This will be a big improvement over the Ryobi. I can't wait to take it out camping.

I bought this in September 2018 to replace an old generator. I was looking for a good sized generator, but wanted something quiet. The iGen4500 is way quieter than I expected. You really can have a normal conversation standing right next to it. With my old generator, I felt embarrassed to use it after hours during power outages, but not with this generator,; I'm serious, its quiet! I love the remote starter, I can turn on and off from inside the house about 50' away. I am very happy with this generator, and I don't write many reviews...

Bought this generator almost a month for my RV and love it at first sight. Great price for a compact but powerful generator. Love the Start/Stop remote feature, especially when the wind pick up outside at 0200am. The noise is not that loud compared to other generator in the same category.

I needed to upgrade my Champion 2000 inverter I us in a smaller hunting trailer. After comparing specs and reviews of a similar Champion model to the iGen 4500, the choice was easy. The iGen 4500 holds more fuel and has longer running times. It also has a scrolling screen that provides run time, remaining fuel, amp draw and will also charge it's own battery. I have a much larger RV with AC and this will handle everything I have running and turned on at the same time. It will run all night and I don't have to get up and refill it in the middle of the night. Remote turns it on when you need it and off when you don't want to walk outside when it's cold, rainy or snowing. What more could you ask for.

Data panel malfunctioning. No fuel quantity or time remaining info. Just purchased for 4th of July outing. Started right up and ran 15 hours. Power output seems a bit low as I can't pull all equipment off generator that I can on 30 amp shore power service. Customer service seems responsive so far, so I will update this after I get warranty service, though it is frustrating to reload this new (heavy) gen back in the car and drive it 100 miles to a service center. Also quite irritating that the cover is no longer a bonus item though it is still sold on Westinghouse website. The literature in the box still says a cover is a bonus option for reviewing your purchase. Who wants a powerstrip? Not a great idea to disappoint a customer about to write a review....
