Great RV Generator!

I bought this generator because it was quite, had a great price and was powerful enough to run my Air Conditioning in my camper trailer in addition to other electrical loads. It is also easy to move around, thanks to the wheels and extendable handle. It handles like a travel suitcase. This is my second generator purchase. The first is also going strong!

It works great right out of the box

I had no trouble with setting up this piece of equipment. The accessory toolkit was helpful with the funnel included in the kit filling the oil was a breeze! The battery charger is which was included in the toolkit is also a nice feature. I charged the battery over night just to be sure that it had enough of a charge to start the device the next day and test the generator out by hooking it up to my camping trailer. The generator pasted the test with flying colors with plenty of power for my camping needs. The remote start is a godsend for my wife in using the generator. the generator is also markedly quieter than my other generator. The compact size is nice too. My other generator is a Craftsman rated a 5600 running watts and is much larger and more cumbersome so the Li'l Blue as I now call my new generator is just about perfect in everyway as far as a portable power source could be. We my wife and I are looking forward to getting out in the mountains of Montana and doing a lot more camping made more enjoyable with our new power source.

Useful features

Recent power outages and a neighbor's recommendation spurred me to acquire this quiet and user-friendly generator for the next emergency. Setup and operating instructions are clear. The 3 starting options are helpful, and the remote start worked flawlessly.

Not running well out of the box

Wish I could give it a better grade. Love everything about it feature wise, but it sputters when it is hot. Has stalled numerous times. People are relying on me to provide power at a tailgate, but the thing keeps stopping. Embarrassing, annoying, and disappointing. They have a real winner on their hands feature wise, but why not build something that works.

Out of the box and running in 10 minutes

Just took out of the box and got it up and running. Comes fully assembled just plug in battery and add oil . It's Quiet, easy to move around and has some nice features. Not sure why you'd need a remote start but it works. As far as durability time will tell. We plan to put some hours on it

Very quiet, starts easily - great value

I bought this for our camper. It powers everything on it. I did however had to connect the electric choke wire to the module. After that, it started & ran perfectly. It is quiet & powerful, and I feel it is a great value for the price. LOVE THE REMOTE START!!!!

choke issues otherwise would give 5 stars

Auto choke sticks. Cannot start without removing side panel and manually adjusting choke. Once it is running I love it. As I am removing the panel NOT so much. Runs my 13500 btu AC, fridge, lights just fine. 30 amp rv. Panel reads about 50% with AC and fridge. Have not used microwave yet.

I've got questions...

I bought this about 6 months ago after a week long power outage at my house. I haven't had to use it for any length of time yet. But I have ran it like ther manual says to probably have around two hours on it. I've done a load test for my "emergency appliances" it is more than enough to power it. Once it runs it runs well. So out of the box I had done questions. The fuel nob was not attached. Most of the screws looked like they had stripped damage. That was weird. So the first few times I tried to start it it took a solid 30 minutes to get it to start. So I started researching and found people have had issues with the electric choke for a 'cold start' . Once it's warm no issues. I was told you can remove the side panel and manual move the choke and it starts no problem. That's a little irritating to me because the push button and remote start where kind of a selling point for me. Such as if I wasn't home my wife could wheel it out press a button on the key fob and have power. But now added in that I would have to walk her through opening up a side panel and explaining where the choke is doesn't excite me. It would be nice if they added a push button or lever that was a "cold start" choke that just did that simple action without having to open it up. Other people mentioned upgrading the spark plug helped then out quite a bit... that said. I've had a difficult time finding alternative spark plugs according to their chart. I'm not sure if the spark plug they mentioned are obsolete or not common to the area I'm in. Everyone I've talked to say NGK spark plugs are the way to go, so if they could at least add a reference to which one would be appropriate that would be nice. I would recommend this to someone with an RV who is going to start it and run it for a while frequently. But not really for someone using it as a backup for their house.

Runs quiet and starts easily

We bought this generator as a 3rd power source option for our travel trailer. It runs very quietly and even under load is not as loud as other generators. We love the remote start and the capability to be wired in to auto-engage if our battery system is running too low. It is also capable of charging our tow vehicle if we are in a pinch for power.
