I bought this generator a few days ago because of an electrical emergency at home. And i was not disappointed. fill it with the supplied oil using the spout in the kit, poured in gas and tree cranks later i was up and running. Later i used the remote and no problem. Love it.

Just received this iGen4500c (one of two) and I love this set up. Poured the oil in, added some gas and hooked up the battery. A flip of the switch, a press of the button and it started right up. It ran smooth as silk immediately. Plugged it all kinds of power tools to vary the load and it did not skip a beat. I ran it for a 30 minute period to begin the break in. I was very happy with how quiet this beast is. Speaks softly and puts out a lot of power. Next I will hook this one to it's brother that I also just received (two of two) with the parallel hook up and run my 5th wheel trailer, which is why I bought two. I have no doubt they will handle everything just like they should. Control panel gives a lot of info, some info you don't notice at first. The fuel gauge and power output percentage are nice LED level gauges on both sides of LED readout gauge. The only two complaints I have is that gas consumption on LED gauge is only in liters and not gallons and that there are some sharp edges around the area where the battery goes. Scratched up my arm well but I have "old man skin".

Just got this unit for an upcoming trip in July plus springtime thunder storms with power outages are in our future I'm sure. I set 3 feet from this generator while powering a 1500 watt heater for testing and was talking on my cell phone with no issues.

Arrived as expected. Added oil and gas and it fires right up. The instructions where clear, however it doesn't include that you need to open the case and connect the battery in order for the start button or remote start to function, also need to charge the battery. But it operates well and is very quiet, and not too heavy, which was my goal. I've yet to check to see if it'll start my air conditioner on the rv.

I bought the IG4500 for an RV Travel Trailer with a 15000BTU air conditioner. It works FLAWLESS. It is he perfect size generator to run all my equipment and the Air Conditioner. We literally sit in the RV and push the remote to start and stop the generator. Couldn't be easier. The remote is a must. So far the unit has preformed without issue. Back to the RV!

Haven't used it on the road yet, but I am VERY impressed with out quiet the unit operates. Looks like Westinghouse made some updates to the new model I got, start button is moved above the 30 amp rv plug in and a few other things. Hopefully this means all the bugs were taken care of in the gen 1 model. Cant wait to use boondocking!

I bought this generator iGen4500 with remote start option for my camper as I needed 30 amp power to run at least 1 ac unit in hot summers. After months of searching for a generator and reading many reviews I am looking forward to this and hopefully for good quality and reliability over time. Have only used once so far and comparing to others it is fairly quiet and reasonable for its size so far.

I took it out of the box, added the oil and gas and it started right up. I then hooked it to my 50Amp 5th wheel with a 40Amp conversion cable and it ran my 15K BTU Air Conditioner, refrigerator and lights with no problem. My 5th has 2 air conditioners but with this unit I could only run one. Unit was very quite .I did a lot of research before buying this unit and for the price it's the best one out there.

I bought this unit to replace an older onboard genset for my RV. It arrived within 4 days of placing the order. Everything went well in opening and going through the start up process. Unit fired right up and ran consistent. Very pleased with this purchase and may consider a second unit for our home.

Writing this as asked to get a cover for the unit. I just started it up using Gas to do a quick check to make sure it was running before a storm hits and knocks out power. The unit shipped with oil and indeed didn't need the full bottle as there was some remaining from factory. The unit seems definitely quiet under no / light load so far in testing and I didn't run it long enough to check the eco mode as starting it normally showed about a 10.5hr run time off a close to full tank of gas. Looking forward to also checking the propane connection when needed.
