We bought this to be prepared for the winter, inspired by my neighbor testing out theirs. He went with a different brand; after doing some research we chose Westinghouse, and we are glad we did. A little extra money but MUCH more quiet than the other brand, and has enough power for our essentials.

Generator does the job, is easy to start and maintain and will run all the 120 volt circuits in my house. The remote start works great. Fuel consumption is very low and the unit is very quiet. I can fill the tank around 10 p.m. and it will still be running in the morning. I installed a transfer switch in my condo so it's a one connection to the outside plug and done. The only issue I had was the electric choke connector came off the circuit board during shipping. There is a service bulletin out on this so it is a know problem. I reinstalled it and put a dab of RTV on the side of the connector to prevent it from happening again.

My husband and I just bought a 30-foot travel trailer for spending time on our land in Central Texas. The iGen4500 was the perfect complement to power the air conditioner and appliances while charging the battery. It starts reliably, has a nice array of electrical outlets, gives good operational information on the control display AND is so quiet. The remote start allows starting the generator from inside the trailer for brewing a pot of coffee and heating up a pastry in the microwave without having to traipse outside in the early morning. We are extremely pleased.

Just fired it up for the first time. I followed the easy to read instruction and that was it. Hooked up the battery, put in the oil, and filled up the gas tank. Pushed the start button and brrrrm. Happy with the DBs put out. Very pleased with my purchase

Was delivered in a very timely manner in perfect condition. Unpacked the generator, added oil, fuel and connected battery according to directions. I then turned on the fuel, pressed the start button and it fired right up. I let it warm up and then plugged a heat gun into it tried it out, it worked flawlessly. Very pleased, just hope I don't need it this Hurricane season in S.W. FL.

All the features are nice. However I've had issues with the choke and the wiring not being connected. Maintenance is difficult as the access panels are far too small. Changing oil is difficult. Used for ice fishing and didn't have any issues with run time or having enough power to run the fish house.

Everything arrived promptly in great shape. It was up and running in minutes. The generator is super quiet and supplies full 30 amp continuous power to our camper. The electric and remote start makes it super convenient. Thank you for designing it with the 30 AMP RV plug instead of a standard generator plug - no adapters needed! The pull out handle and the top handles make is easy to maneuver and secure when needed. The digital display showing remaining fuel, run time, and power draw is fantastic.

purchased this unit back in April of this year and its been a headache to keep unit on. i tried using it for the second time this past weekend and its still doing the same thing. I Filed a claim and sent video. I hope they can correct issues or replace unit. I will update review at later time.

Love the features of this product - especially the remote start/stop. The primary reason I bought the generator was for at my hunting land. With that said, who wants a noisy generator and who wants to go outside and shut it down when you are ready for bed? With this excellent feature and it being less than half the price of the more popular red one it was a hands down decision for me. All this with with a three year warranty. The first bottle of oil was included so once I added the oil, put in some gas and connected the battery (included with generator) I was up and running 10 minutes after taking out of the box. Love this generator.

This is my first generator and will be my only. I reviewed for 3 months on which one to purchase and this met all my needs. I did sacrifice ease of portability as this model is heavy but thats just means I need to stay in shape. Thansk Westinghouse for a great product.
