I purchased 2 of these generators about a month ago and waited till today to "fire them up". Directions were super simple (this is my 1st time using this type of portable power). I am bringing my travel trailer home next Saturday and will see get a live test as I also have on order the Westinghouse Parallel Power Cord. I was very pleased with the smooth sound too. Of course the real test will be when I use them for boon docking.

Purchased to replace an old, very heavy and loud generator. Ease of operation of the iGen4500 is awesome. It is so much quieter. Perfect for use in the city. Electric start and remote start options are wonderful. I a very happy with this generator.

I bought this last fall. Finally got a chance to use it for the first time camping last weekend. It started and worked excellent I absolutely love it! the only dislike I have is how you have to change the oil but other than that it's a perfect little machine

so I'm not going to lie when I first bought the unit I was super mad because it was leaking gas. I got my mechanic skills going and notices the carburetor valve was not tight so I turned it and not the generator is working like a champ. Can't wait to see what this bad boy has in it.

Pros: very pleasing color, compact and quiet. not too heavy. loved the wheels with retractable handle. and the front panel. Cons: no oil gauge. this could prevent spills. at least the initial oil provided should not have caused a spill. An index in the user manual would be nice as well.

I bought this as a replacement for another generator that was stolen. The other one was so loud I almost hated to use it since it disturbed other campers. This unit is extremely quiet. I have not used it with my RV yet, but look forward to being able to use it without disturbing everyone else.

The Westinghouse name brand, 3 year parts warranty, and great reviews led me to purchase this product. I have loaded it up with many different appliances and it purrs like a kitten. It's reasonably quiet between 65 - 83 DB, you can hold a conversation next to it without any problems. Much quieter than my non-inverter generator. Weighing a little over 100 pounds I am surprised at how easy it is to move with the built in retractable handle and it doesn't feel that heavy if you have to lift it using built in lift handles. A lot of thought went into its design and it is very easy to access serviceable parts. I like the supplied oil funnel as it screws in the oil filler tube which ensures oil will not spill when filling, unlike those other funnels that have a tendency to pop out at the wrong time. However the best part of this generator, is the informative lcd panel. It toggles between 5 screens. The screen I use the most is the one that shows the power load the generator is pulling. In addition to the 5 LCD informative screens, it has an ever present percent of fuel remaining gauge and a percent of load indicator in 25% increments. Very easy to read. One feature that could be improved is to have the ability to change the remaining fuel display from Liters to Gallons remaining, however this is not a deal killer. If you do not use the built in battery to start the generator, the pull handle starts it up in one or two pulls and the remote start key fob works great! This generator, like others, also has an auto shut off if the load exceeds the generator capacity or the oil level is too low. It also has a charger so you can top off the built in battery monthly if the generator is not being used. Well thought out, three ways to start it, easy to transport, perfect compact size. I highly recommend this product!

I was looking to purchase a moderately priced generator and I found this gem it's perfect for my travel trailer. I really liked the direct TT 30 hook up.And is very light and easy to move around. Everything you need to start this gen.comes in the box EXCEPT the gas. EASY AS YOU CAN GET. I would recommend to anyone in need of a GREAT gen. .

It arrived on the UPS truck without any defects. After reading the directions (including adding engine oil) it fired up on the first pull. It is a lot of generator for the money. I love the big fuel tank, it lets us sleep all night in our RV without having to refuel when boondocking.

I bought as backup for power outage in hurricane and winter seasons. Instructions are very good. Started up on second pull of recoil handle (first was probably filling carbonator with gas). Recoil pull was very easy. Ran great and very quite compared to others I hear in the neighborhood.
