Bought this when Hurricane Ian was about to hit. Previous hurricane we lost power for several days. Got the dual power as I have several propane tanks for the grill and firepit. Unpacked, put in oil and gas and it fired right away. Didn't actually need it for this hurricane but keeping in garage as hurricane season has started!!

I bought this because I was tired of dealing with the power outages everytime there is a small wind storm. I got this model because it gives me enough power to run my refrigerator, sump pump, lights, Air conditioner or hear when needed. It also uses both gas and propane fuel so if we have another hurricane that knocks out the power and gas stations aren't able to pump either from not having power or not able to get a delivery at least I can still buy propane canisters and refill them giving me options. You will need 2 people to put this thing in your car and bring it home in the box. I did find out it was easier to get out of my van with it out of the box. As of yet I haven't experienced any major power outages so use is limited. But this item comes with a 3 year warranty so I think I'm safe as for this generator lasting.

Purchased during extended power outage following hurricane Helene. Easy set-up. Only had to add oil (included in box) and has. Easy on gas compared to other generators I've used. Did exactly what it was supposed to do without any unexpected hassles. Very pleased and will look at Westinghouse again for larger unit in near future.

We purchased this generator 3 days ago getting prepared for a bad hurricane. We have it set up ready to go, The dual with gas and propane is a great feature also. After setting up we cranked it up and it was very easy to pull start it on the first pull. You cannot go wrong with generator.

I bought this item due to recently buying a travel trailer, use it to help open the slide and power the trailer up when I’m not near a plug in works great. Not to heavily to lug around and works great with the 30 amp plug, would recommend this to only my Travel Trailer buddies

This Westinghouse Dual Fuel Generator which uses gasoline or propane is just what we need in case of power outages on the farm. It was also purchased with our RV in mind. Stout machine with well marked controls. Instruction booklet was easily understood. A little heavier than I expected so it looks like it will last years.

We originally bought this because we were expecting a hurricane but it shifted so we were very blessed, we ended up getting several inches of snow (in Texas) and our family members electricity went out so we put the generator together and ran it over to their house along with a heater and extension cord, we filled it with gas and it started up easily, it done a wonderful job and kept them warm all night. And it wasn’t extremely loud either. If you are thinking about buying one do no hesitate.

WE HAD A FLOOD IN OUR LOWER LEVEL AND NEEDED THE GENERATOR BECAUSE THE BATTERY BACKUP ON THE SUMP PUMP FAILED. THE GENERATOR WAS EASY TO SETUP AND START AND AS SOON AS WE HOOKED UP THE SUMP PUMP IT RAN WITHOUT TROUBLE. A LIFE SAVER PRODUCT THAT EVERYONE SHOULD HAVE AS A BACKUP.

I bought this same model a year ago and decided to get another one because I liked it so much. Very easy to use and great features. I used the first one at my remote, off-grid cabin and it is great. I had to change the LP nozzle for the high altitude but the support team was very helpful. This one is staying at my home for emergency backup purposes.

Bought another brand and it wouldn't start. Returned it and bought the Westinghouse WGen5300DFcv. It was very easy to set up. Was the same price as the other brand and had more features and more running watts and peak watts. It started on the very first pull. It has falf the noise of my old generator and vibration is minimal. I ran two freezers, a refrigerator, and a couple of lights and a fan with no trouble. It looks sturdy and it looks good.
