I just purchased this generator and am very pleased with it. It has all the features that I wanted and is compact enough not to take up a lot of storage space. Assemble was easy and it started right up and works great on gasoline and propane. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a backup generator or just one to take camping.

Impressed with generator, minor assembly easy, quality product. Dual fuel, started on propane since no residue if not required for a while. After a tornado 2 years ago and power outages in Texas last winter, not rolling the dice again. Pleasex with purchase and accessories.

Out of the box and up and running on propane in less than 30 minutes. Tested with various appliances and performed perfectly. Propane option makes storage a lot easier, but being able to run on gas just-in-case is perfect. Heavy, but wheels make it easy to maneuver.

I recently bought this generator because the power goes out constantly where I live, and this thing has been an absolute life saver. I cannot recommend enough haven't a backup generator has changed me and my family's life. This Westinghouse general is fantastic. The build quality is among the best I've seen and has more than enough juice to power my whole house. We had it hooked up to a transfer switch and it's perfect because this Genny comes ready for that. The dual fuel option is really nice as well. Also it comes with everything you need in the box except fuel. This generator was hands down the best value I could find i definitely recommend Westinghouse generators they are some of the best on the market.

I purchased this combination fuel gas/propane model primarily for backup during a power outage. I plan to use propane so I don't have to bother with gas, fuel stabilizer, etc. And having an extra propane tank around is handy for the grill too! I also chose this model because I plan to get an interlock installed on my electric panel and connect it right to the panel. I did start it up and let it run for 20 minutes or so on propane. It took several pulls for the initial startup. Note that you do need the choke on regardless of the fuel type :-) Only plugged a few small tools into the 120 receptacles just to try it out so haven't run it under much of a load yet, but it seemed to run fine/evenly.

Bought this to replace a generator that had been damaged during Hurricane Irma in 2017. There's a storm heading our way right now and I feel good about this purchase. Haven't had a chance to use it much yet but so far it has been easy to start and seems to work well.

I bought this to use to power a few things in our home during a power outage. Really liked that it is dual fuel as I keep propane on hand. It came pretty well packed and in great condition. The 240 VAC output is one major selling point for me, so I can attached it to the house panel. Tried to run the unit on gasoline and then propane. Both worked well and the unit started on the 4th pull. I also really like that the handle and wheels were included, as they are extra on a lot of units this size. The only downsides I have so far is that the pull rope spring seems a bit weak. After I pulled to start the motor, I had to quickly let the rope go back into the motor or else I ended up with a lot of rope hanging out of the starter assembly. The other was that it was hard to change the display. I had to use a pencil to push the button in far enough to make contact and change the display. Minor issues to me as the unit performed well and ran pretty quietly too. I cannot beat the 3 year warranty too. Many units by other companies come with only 1 year. Lastly the price was a definite factor as I saved a lot of money.

When I bought this I was really surprised in the quality of the unit and the ease of getting it ready to go. Easy setup and easy to start .. I had other brands of generators and this is the best for the money and will look forward to using it when emergencies arise or just when I need it for other uses .. thanks for a great product!

Arrived packaged well and in timely manner. Got it out of the box, set up per instructions, rolled it outside and it fired up on the very first pull. Seem to run good, but have not had a chance to put much of a load on it. Will update after our next trip.
