I bought this in preparation for hurricane season. Powers my 1HP well pump (most important) and lights, internet, OTA TV's, and refrigerators in main house and guest house. Basic needs covered. I had a 10,000-watt generator, but it was way too heavy to move around and used much more gas. I have a 200-gallon outdoor propane tank for a gas fireplace which makes the duel full feature great in case of extended power outages.

After opening my package everything looked and felt good. I got everything install, and was ready to fire up my generator. But, it didn't happen. My recoil handle went limp, and I couldn't generate enough power to fire up my generator. I am highly disappointed with my product.

I bought this a week ago. It is nice that it is a dual fuel generator sytem. It cranked right up with propane as well as gasoline. Easy setup and love the portability. Wheels are sturdy and it is easy for wife to move. Placed a load on it and it ran seamlessly. Great buy!!

This is the first time that I have purchased a generator. I have done a lot of research and decided to go with the Westinghouse Dual fuel. I purchased it about a month ago and have not had the chance to use it. But I already love all the features and it really is well made. I will update review once I am able to use it.

We had a power outage in Texas. It is summer and we had no electricity meaning no air conditioner. I bought this product and plugged it into my refrigerator, freezer, 2 fans and small electronics and ran it for 1 1/2 days feeling it up twice. It served us perfectly. I accidently put in the wrong serial number it is actually 53c12211334578

I'm not sure if I already registered this but had a recent opportunity to finally start it and found that it had no power output from the panel's 120/240-volt 30-Amp Twist Lock Outlet (NEMA L14-30R) nor on the 120-volt 30-Amp Outlet (TT-30R). Is there something involved here not mentioned in the owner's manual such as grounding required of the unit or the cable needs to be connected? Circuit breakers were pushed in. Had power output on the two 120-volt 20-Amp outlets. All checked with a multi-meter.

Everything seems fine, Im running it through a break in period but I couldnt start it right out of the box because I recieved the unit with a caved in cover over the pull start mechanism. The blue grill that houses the pulling assembly was caved in to the point where I couldn't pull the cord at all. I had to remove it and cut it and reform it so it would spin freely. All in all the generator seems like its well built enough and there is attention to detail in its manufacture. I would like for someone from westinghouse to get back to me and send me a replacement cover and pull start assembly though.

Was looking for something to get me through occasional power outages in a rural area, but didn’t want to have to deal with fuel stabilizer for gasoline all the time. It works like it says and was super easy to get started up. I am happy with my purchase.

This generator looks to be made very well and will be a reliable source of energy if the power goes out. It's also great that it's ready to be integrated into a transfer switch! Only drawback is 2 normal outlets and no electric start that Im aware of at this time.

I did get it started, but after about 5 minutes it just shut off. Started it again and after a few minutes it shut off again. I live in high altitude so I purchased the recommended high altitude kit and hopefully it will run better after installing the kit.
